Free video games in the library PS2 and Xbox games available for checkout at the library
PS2 and Xbox360 games will be available for check out at the Dakota County Libraries beginning June 2. The games will be located in the teen sections of the Galaxie Library in Apple Valley and the Inver Glen Library in Inver Grove Heights. Games may be reserved and circulate free for seven days. Games will be rated "E" for Everyone or "T" for Teen. Expect to see titles such as Lego Star Wars II, The Simpsons Game, and Thrillville, as well as sports games like Madden NFL and Tony Hawk's Underground 2. Like music and literature, games are a form of expression and have become a prominent mode of entertainment and education for teens. Providing popular and recreational materials is part of the library mission to enrich the quality of life of county residents.
