This is an absolute masterpiece.The pros:-- All new CAMOUFLAGE-SYSTEM. You put on different camouflages to hide from enemies. I was incredibly disappointed with this game - it seemed like such a departure from MGS1 and 2. I was annoyed by the lack of radar.

Its by far the best Metal Gear Solid game. Its better then part 1 and 2. Graphically its amazing. best MGS game ever and one of the BEST games ever. but this game is extrodinary for anyone who likes splinter buy this! and people who want the feeling of somthing new BUY THIS!

wow.. I have played so many kind of game,but never to be enjoyed like this. Metal Gear Solid 3 - Snake Eater in my opinion would have to be the greatest Metal Gear game. The Metal Gear Solid series is one of the most popular in gaming history, up there with Grand Theft Auto, Final Fantasy and Resident Evil.

This in an excellent game well worth buying! Graphics are great ans so is gameplay. I get hooked o this game. The story of the game is awesome I think its much better than the last 2 games any day, the story is about solid snake dad who is called naked snake.

The Origin of Metal Gear Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is a prequel of the Metal Gear saga. A fantastic return to form Metal Gear Solid 3 is a blistering return to form for the Metal Gear series after the unimpressive Metal Gear Solid 2.

Set in the 1960s, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is the definitive stealth action experience with extraordinary depth and new gameplay mechanics. Moving beyond the series' signature radar control, the game thrusts players into a fully interactive and immersive jungle environment. Gamers must rely on elements such as the "camouflage index" to blend into the environments to sneak past enemies undetected or use the game's unique and in-depth hand-to-hand combat "CQC" system to take down their foes. Utilizing the new camouflage index, players can change the patterns on Snake's clothes as well as his face paint in order to blend into the surroundings, allowing him to avoid enemy detection or sneak up on his enemies. Players will be able to acquire different camouflage patterns throughout the game as well as download new camo designs online. Instead of slinking around futuristic installations, knocking on metal to distract guards, or crawling underneath a cardboard box, players are given a whole new Snake to wrangle. Drawing its inspiration from films like First Blood and Rambo: First Blood Part II, Snake Eater drops players in the middle of a thick jungle teeming with wildlife and, of course, terrorists. Heavily armed enemies dressed in camouflage gear will patrol the dense forests, waterfalls, and surrounding areas, so players will be able to climb trees, fire pistols while hanging down from branches, and crawl through hollowed out logs to stalk their prey. Along the way, Snake will have to find sustenance by catching fish or other wildlife, while being mindful of natural hazards such hornets nests, cliffs, and rapids.
