Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 2 Secrets and Unlockables (PS2)
The creepiest sci-fi story ever
Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 2 is a direct sequel to the video game Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga, directly continuing the story. It retains the "Press Turn" battle system, while altering the mantra grid, adding more enemies and adding a "Karma Ring" system to add stat boosts to your characters. Serph, leader of the Embryon, wanders aimlessly through the lifeless streets before him. In the Junkyard, his Tribe fought a gruesome war, hoping the light of heaven would relieve their suffering. In the end, Serphs world vanished, along with the comrades who stood by his side. All that awaited him in Nirvana were endless streets littered with the silent remains of human statues. The Promised Land was nothing but a new hell. In the future, a mysterious disease that causes the human body to slowly turn to stone is discovered. This is called the Cuvier Syndrome and is found to be originating from corrupted data emanating from the Sun, also known as God.UnlockablesBerserker RingOnce you beat the game, load up your clear game file and start a new game on either Normal or Hard. Play the game as normal and get to the battle where a Ghoul says he has a Power Ring on. Upon winning, you'll also receive the Berserker Ring, which allows you to always fight in Berserk Mode without having the Solar Data be 7/8 or MAX.Hard DifficultyEither by loading a clear save from the first Digital Devil Saga, or by completing Digital Devil Saga 2 you can select your difficulty of either Normal or Hard. Hard mode makes it harder to escape, (3/10ths the chance of normal mode) enemies hit you for 1.5 times more damage, enemies have a 1.5 times higher critical hit ratio, you hitting an enemy's weakness results in 2 times damage and allows you to face an extra secret boss.Unlocking HeatIn order to unlock the character Heat, you must make the right choices through out DDS 1 and 2. Note that if you do choose to Unlock Heat in DDS2, Ronald would be replacedIn DDS 1:When Heat decide to fight you in Coordinate 136, pick the first choice- After defeating Varon Omega at Brute's Base, pick the first choiceBeat the game, after the credit roll, save the game when it asks you to. Start DDS2, when asked to load save from DDS1, load the clear data.In DDS 2:-At the EGG factory, pick the first choice.-After defeating Vitra, pick the first choice.SecretsNew Game +Finish the game once and save your clear game file. Load the clear game file and play again, but this time, you get to keep previously earned Karma Ring, Mantra/Skill and Linkage. Here's a cool video trailer that shows you what the game's all about:

Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga Secrets (PS2)
The perfect way to unlock the New Game+ mode
Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga is a PlayStation 2 role-playing game. It is a spinoff of the Shin Megami Tensei series of video games; the main difference between Digital Devil Saga and the main series is the focus on specific characters rather than summoning demons to fight alongside your party. The story to Digital Devil Saga is continued with its direct sequel Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 2, similar to the.hack series of games. Notable features of the game include the ability to shapeshift between demon and human forms in battle and a return of the "press turn" battle system from Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne. A large difference between Nocturne and Digital Devil Saga is the ability to change equipped skills at will, instead of at level up. Unlike in Nocturne, unlearned skills are not lost forever, which allows for much greater character customization. The game features a mantra system where Atma gained after battle can be used to "download" new abilities at a saving terminal. Atma is gained by devouring enemies in battle. Digital Devil Saga was released in 2004 in Japan, 2005 in North America and 2006 in Europe. The band Etro Anime provided "Danger", the introductory song for the U.S. version of the game and Houko Kuwashima provided "Pray", the introductory song for the Japanese and European version of the game.SecretsNew game+Beat the game. After viewing the ending and credits, the game will ask you to save your file (This save will have the words NEXT CYCLE and EXTRA on it). Load that file to begin a new game+. You start back at level 1 with minimal money and items. However, all learned combos and mastered/purchased Mantras from the previous game will carry over into the new game. A next cycle game also lets your characters learn the Human Form skill and unlocks an optional super boss for you to fight. Wondering how the game looks like? Here's a trailer:
