Tomb Raider Is Back for Mac
There is really no reason to get too excited over Aspyr's announcement, although some may enjoy re-playing Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation and Tomb Raider: Chronicles on their Macs, especially with the company selling both titles for just $15, boxed, and with free shipping.

"To celebrate the release of the new Tomb Raider game, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, we've brought a couple of our own Tomb Raider games out of retirement," Aspyr Media has announced on its GameAgent NonBlog. "Oldies, but goodies, you can now pick up Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation (Mac) for only $4.99 and Tomb Raider: Chronicles (Mac) for only $9.99," the publisher notes. "Take advantage of these deals before these games return to their gaming tombs!," the announcement ends. Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation is the fourth video game in the Tomb Raider series. Developed by Core Design and published by Eidos Interactive, it was released on PC, PlayStation and eventually to the Sega Dreamcast gaming system. The title delivered unprecedented graphical and sound enhancements, and a great story to boot, featuring Lara Croft's teenaged tomb-raiding origins, accompanied by her former mentor Werner Von Croy. Tomb Raider: Chronicles, the fifth game in the Tomb Raider series, was also developed by Core Design and published by Eidos Interactive. As the sequel to Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, Tomb Raider Chronicles starts out just days after the events of The Last Revelation. Lara Croft is still missing and presumed dead. A memorial service at Croft Manor brings together three of Lara's old friends: Winston, Charles Kane and Father Patrick Dunstan. In terms of gameplay, Tomb Raider Chronicles closely resembles The Last Revelation. New additions to Lara's skills include abilities like walking on a tightrope, grabbing and swinging on horizontal bars, and dropping from a ledge forwards while crouching.
