Not only are these units faster than the older units, they are mobile, much clearer screens, easy controls or menus.

"My husband got this for me for Christmas. I have used it for over a month now with absolutely no issues. So glad that I got this Garmin!! "Received as a gift and after wife used it bought one" Easy to use and very accurate addresses Sometimes gives conflicting verbal directions.

Super value, very very accurate GPS, I love the new QWERTY keyboard design, no bluetooth could be the only downside but for $200 bucks the price.

The updated keyboard feature. Easy Menus,Easy To Read,Easy To Set Up,Large Screen,Reliable Performance,Simple Controls Finding things in the menus is not always straightforward. Once you understand where all the settings are located, it is very feature rich.

Nothing too fancy but it works great. I drive around town for one of my jobs and this thing has saved me a lot of headache and frustration. Great price, gets the job down without any bells & whistles None

Garmin Nuvi 205W This product picks up satellites quickly and clearly and accurately gets me to my destination. good gadget, useless manual My new 205W woks at suppossed. Not as advertised.

Great product I know there are lots of features on similar Garmin products, but for basic traveling this unit is great for me.

Like the rest of the sleek nüvi 2x5-series, the 205W is priced right and ultra-easy to use. With nüvi 205W's widescreen display, you'll always get the big picture. View map detail, driving directions, photos and more in bright, brilliant color. Its sunlight-readable, 4.3-inch display is easy to read - from any direction. nüvi 205W comes preloaded with City Navigator NT map data for the contiguous U.S., Canada or one European region or country. Simply touch the color screen to enter a destination, and nüvi takes you there with turn-by-turn voice directions, 2-D or 3-D maps and smooth map updates as you navigate. Its digital elevation maps show you shaded contours at higher zoom levels, giving you a big picture of the surrounding terrain. In addition, nüvi 205W accepts custom points of interest (POIs), such as school zones and safety cameras and lets you set proximity alerts to warn you of upcoming POIs. With HotFix satellite prediction, nüvi calculates your position faster to get you there quicker. Like the rest of the nüvi 2x5-series, nüvi 205W sports a sleek, slim design and fits comfortably in your pocket or purse. Its rechargeable lithium-ion battery makes it convenient for navigation by car or foot. With its "Where Am I? " emergency locator, you always know your location. Simply tap the screen to get your exact latitude and longitude coordinates, the nearest address and intersection, and the closest hospitals, police stations and fuel stations. Navigation is just the beginning. nüvi 205W includes many travel tools including JPEG picture viewer, world travel clock with time zones, currency converter, measurement converter, calculator and more. With photo navigation, you can download Google Panoramio pictures via our Garmin Connect Photos website and navigate to them. The 205W is compatible with optional enhanced MSN Direct content and our free Garmin Garage where you can download animated vehicles that show your location on the map. It also comes with Garmin Lock, an anti-theft feature. Enhance your travel experience with optional plug-in microSD cards such as Garmin Travel Guides for detailed data on attractions.
