Worked fine until a few days ago I ordered this for my wife for Christmas of 2009. Basic GPS I used this product for a few years and it performed flawlessly. All you need for regualar navigations.

Portable and affordable, nüvi 205 is your personal travel assistant for life on the go. This GPS offers many functions as the whole family nüvi, but is available for a very economic price. The Garmin also equipped the nüvi 250 GPS with Navteq maps of 33 European countries and a radar alarm pre-loaded. Additionally.

This unit got everyony exactly where they needed to be and is easy to set up. Great product that has cut down on my cell phone bill. Now my lovely wife never has to call me for directions or when she gets lost.

"Easy set up right from box. Street alert not necessary. Screen size not an issue. Loud voice, bright screen. Everything I needed, then some. "I purchase a tom tom125 and took it back and got the garmin nuvi205. The tom was not accurate but the garmin was to the point and much easier to use.
