Not only are these units faster than the older units, they are mobile, much clearer screens, easy controls or menus. Finding things in the menus is not always straightforward. Once you understand where all the settings are located, it is very feature rich.

Great product I know there are lots of features on similar Garmin products, but for basic traveling this unit is great for me.

Super value, very very accurate GPS, I love the new QWERTY keyboard design, no bluetooth could be the only downside but for $200 bucks the price. Gave this unit a good test......driving a rental car all around Florida for 10 days. Very easy controls and programing.

This unit is fast operating and simple to use with a solid quick mount and car charger included. This product is great for people like me that are bad in directions, absolutley recommend this product. J&R you guys are the best, I live In L.A.

Garmin Nuvi 205W This product picks up satellites quickly and clearly and accurately gets me to my destination. My Garmin I purchased my Garmin nuvi 205W last month at the suggestion of my son. I love it. It is so easy to use. good gadget, useless manual My new 205W woks at suppossed. Not as advertised.

My wife swears by the Garmin and the gift was for her. Seems to be pretty accurate so far. I like the little extras it has available to download.

View map detail, driving directions, photos and more in bright, brilliant color. Its sunlight-readable, 4.3-inch display is easy to read - from any direction. nüvi 205W comes preloaded with City Navigator NT map data for the contiguous U.S., Canada or one European region or country. Simply touch the color screen to enter a destination, and nüvi takes you there with turn-by-turn voice directions, 2-D or 3-D maps and smooth map updates as you navigate. Its digital elevation maps show you shaded contours at higher zoom levels, giving you a big picture of the surrounding terrain. In addition, nüvi 205W accepts custom points of interest (POIs), such as school zones and safety cameras and lets you set proximity alerts to warn you of upcoming POIs. With HotFix satellite prediction, nüvi calculates your position faster to get you there quicker. Like the rest of the nüvi 2x5-series, nüvi 205W sports a sleek, slim design and fits comfortably in your pocket or purse. Its rechargeable lithium-ion battery makes it convenient for navigation by car or foot. With its "Where Am I? " emergency locator, you always know your location. Simply tap the screen to get your exact latitude and longitude coordinates, the nearest address and intersection, and the closest hospitals, police stations and fuel stations. Navigation is just the beginning. nüvi 205W includes many travel tools including JPEG picture viewer, world travel clock with time zones, currency converter, measurement converter, calculator and more. With photo navigation, you can download Google Panoramio pictures via our Garmin Connect Photos website and navigate to them. The 205W is compatible with optional enhanced MSN Direct content and our free Garmin Garage where you can download animated vehicles that show your location on the map. It also comes with Garmin Lock, an anti-theft feature. Enhance your travel experience with optional plug-in microSD cards such as Garmin Travel Guides for detailed data on attractions.
