Keypad Functions

5. On/Off Button: Pressing this button places the phone on-line to place or answer a call. The on-line indicator lights. Pressing the On/Off Button again ends the call. The on-line indicator goes out. 6. M1, M2, & M3 Speed Dial Keys: Pressing any one of these keys while the GN 7100 is on-line automatically dials the phone number stored for that One-Touch Speed Dial key. 7. MEM Key: While on-line, press this button and then any one of the ten keypad number buttons (0-9) to automatically dial the phone number stored in the corresponding Speed Dial location. 8. STORE Key: Pressing this key while on-line enables you to save telephone numbers into the 13 Speed Dial memory locations (M1, M2, M3 and 0-9). 9. MUTE Key: Pressing this key while on-line disables your headphone microphone. You can still hear your callers but they cannot hear you. The LED lights to indicate the mute function is enabled. Press MUTE again to return to normal operation. 10. FLASH Key: Pressing this key disconnects your call. The FLASH key is also frequently used to activate custom calling services such as Call Waiting or 3-Way Calling. Refer to the instructions for these services supplied by your local phone provider.

And when you not are talking, your headset can be conveniently replaced in the built-in headset stand. The GN 7100 is available in a black and grey cabinet with blue buttons and light grey digits.
