Using it with the GN/ADP-I headset. Great price and prompt shipping from NewEgg. Works fine as a replacement for a dying 9 year old GN Netcom MPA-II.

Full description

MPA II is the unique Multi-Purpose headset amplifier from GN Netcom, designed to link GN Netcom's wide range of headsets to virtually every telephone on the market. Using this device and one headset, telephone time gets more comfortable and far more efficient - it's like you're communicating face-to-face. GN Netcom's GN MPA II Multi-Purpose Amplifier is ingeniously designed to overcome the problem of connecting headsets to different types of telephones. GN MPA II does the job by acting, as a universal interface, which can be connected to virtually any type of telephone on the market today, be it digital or analogue. The compact amplifier takes up no more space on your desk than a deck of cards - and enables you to switch between your headset and a traditional phone handset, whenever you choose. You can also use the mute switch to cut off the sound when you want to talk confidentially to someone else. Moreover, with the GN MPA II, you can adjust sound levels for optimal comfort - and there's a built-in headset stand for when you're not using your headset.
