Gorenje has teamed up with Ora-to, the world-famous French designer of the younger generation. His intrepid ideas launched him to the very top of the world of design. His concepts are futuristic and provocative. The result of this cooperation is a trendy range of technologically perfected household appliances the Gorenje Ora-to Collection. Available in black and white.
Ora-to has designed for the worlds major brands, such as Heineken, Adidas, Ogo, Artemide, B&B, Capellini, L'Oral, Toyota, LaCie, Danone, Christofle, Ballantine's, Sagem, Davidoff and many more. He has received many awards, including the Oscar for Best Packaging Design, the Janus Award in 2006 and 2007, and the Red Dot Design Award.

Simplexity

Ora-to characterizes his recognizable style as simplexity: simple yet complex. With unnecessary surplus taken away, only the clean design lines remain.

Futuristic kitchen

The unique Futuristic kitchen in the shape of a rounded cube was also created in cooperation with Ora-to. Made of a high-tech composite material was designed as a fully mobile setting to display the Gorenje Ora-to Collection as it clocks up the miles through many European capitals. Throughout its journey it has covered over 14.000 kilometres.

Perfect drying

Perfect drying is achieved by using the residual heat from the last hot rinse. As the inside of the appliance housing cools down faster than the dishes, the remaining steam condenses on the interior of the dishwasher, drains to the bottom, and evaporates. The result: perfectly dried dishes.
Height adjustable baskets
Both the upper and the lower basket on some of our models can be adapted to fit the size and the shape of your dishes. The racks in the lower basket can be folded to provide space for larger items. The upper basket can be moved up to create room for oversized plates. The party glass holder in the upper basket has been specifically designed for delicate stem glasses. The larger, bottom basket also features a compartmentalised cutlery basket to accommodate all types of kitchen utensils.
AquaStop anti-flooding system
On selected models with the Aquastop safety feature, the dishwasher can be safely left to operate at night as well as in your absence. In case of leakage or flooding, AquaStop automatically cuts off the water supply while the pump siphons the residual water out of the dishwasher basin. AquaStop remains fully functional for the duration of the working life of the appliance.
Prevent temperature shocks
A special heat exchanger gradually increases the water temperature in the dishwasher preventing cold water from flowing over hot surfaces, so your dishes are not exposed to temperature shocks. Hygiene is also improved as the heat exchanger allows effective drying without using air from outside the machine. When the dishwasher is opened after washing, you will not experience clouds of steam.

For best wash results

Gorenje recommends the use of separate salt, powder and rinse aid for all models, however the GV62224UK has a '3in1' program where only this tablet type can be used. Gorenje will not accept any consequential liability for poor wash results due to the lack of any of these detergents, the effects of a separate mains water softener and where any tablets are used in conjunction with rinse aid. Large vegetable crisper

Gorenje refrigerators provide optimal cooling conditions for the storage of fruit and vegetables. In addition to maintaining just the right temperature and humidity, certain models also come with a large capacity fruit and vegetable crisper designed to preserve the nutrients and prolong the freshness of your food: a great solution for your weekly shopping. In fridge freezers with freezer part on top (Top mount) is this vegetable drawer on telescopic guides.

Fan system

To provide uniformly distributed temperature across the refrigerator, we have installed a fan into the appliance interior. The fan propels air circulation, thus improving the cooling performance. Such system will preserve the food and ready-made dishes for a longer period of time, regardless of which shelf the food is stored on. Furthermore, the fan prevents accumulation condensation on glass shelves and interior walls.

Bottle holder

In Gorenje refrigerators, bottles do not take up the space that could be conveniently used to store other items in the refrigerator door shelves or on glass shelves; the designated bottle holder ensures optimum use of storage space. In addition, due to its slight inclination, it will safety store even the bottles that have already been opened.
The benefit of glass shelves
Glass shelves in Gorenje refrigerators are made of safety glass. They are highly resistant and can withstand up to 40 kilograms of weight. In case of spillage, the fluid will not drip onto the shelf below. Glass shelves provide excellent support even to food in small and narrow packaging. They are also easy to clean.

Deep door bottle shelf

This highly practical shelf enables a systematic storage of items that are taken out of the refrigerator with the highest frequency: upright cartons and 2 litre bottles can be stored in the deep holder at the back while smaller items and jars can be placed in the shallow holder in the front. The shelf is positioned in the most accessible, easy-to-see spot, which also makes it within easy reach of children.

AquaClean

Pour half a litre of tap water into a deep baking tray and place it in the 2nd level guide from the bottom. Set the oven temperature on 50 C for half an hour.
FastPreheat, 200 C in 6 minutes
According to market research, a rapid-preheat function is one of the more desirable oven features. By virtue of the ovens special vaulted design and use all the heating elements it takes only 6 minutes for the oven temperature to reach 200 C. A minimum 30 % time saving means that you can serve your pizzas, cakes and other dishes that require a preheated oven faster than ever before. A built-in light and sound alarm will alert you when the oven has reached the desired temperature.

Meat probe

Selected models of Gorenje ovens come with a meat probe, which allows you to directly monitor and control the roasting of your meat. The 46 cm oven width has a 15% larger cooking surface, which is the result of a fresh approach to oven design. Making the most of the available oven width makes it possible to fit larger quantities of food on a single tray, both when it comes to single-shelf as well as multi-shelf cooking. A highly efficient design of the top heating element ensures a uniform distribution of heat across the entire tray surface which translates into perfect cooking results.
Cooking on several shelves set at different levels
By choosing a Gorenje oven you can bake your biscuits up to three different levels at the same time. The fan at the rear of the oven ensures an even and swift distribution of heat. Smooth oven door surface for easy cleaning

When preparing a dish, which you know from experience takes a certain amount of time to complete, you can set the timer for up to 99 minutes. When the cooking is concluded, the hob switches off automatically and activates an audio signal.

Overheat protection

The induction hob is also equipped with a built-in overheating protection device that protects the electronic parts against damage as a consequence of excess heat. The device operates in several stages. When the temperature of a cooking zone increases considerably, it switches on a two-stage fan. Then, if necessary, it inactivates the power boost function, prior to any automatic reduction of power to the cooking zones and eventual switch off. When the hob cools down sufficiently, its entire heating surface and power is again available.

ChildLock for safety

The ChildLock function prevents children from interfering with or resetting the selected parameters, thus also providing protection against accidental activation and operation of the hob.
StopGo for maximum convenience
This feature allows you to temporarily suspend the cooking process when unexpectedly called away. One touch of the StopGo key freezes all settings, giving you time to go and safely answer the door or deal with an emergency. All active heating zones are thus temporarily switched off until reactivated by the StopGo key.

NoLimits induction hob

If you feel that the size of the pan and the limits of the heating zone restrict your cooking experience, the new induction hob is the right choice for you. Innovative technology includes sensor recognition of the pan, which paves the way for optimum use of the cooking hob. The hob features four cooking zones marked by a tiny circle with letter P in the centre. Another remarkable advantage of this appliance is that every cooking zone has its own touch control module!
Two- or three-ring and oval heating zones
Two- or three ring heating zones make it possible for your hob to adapt precisely to the various cookware used. The oval heating zone is ideal for cooking large cuts of meat or fish. By simply switching on the extra rings, you can increase the cooking zone as required, thereby saving valuable energy.
A brand new shape: the 4-in-a-row hob
The attractive 90 x 35 cm 4-in-a-row hob, with its series of four ergonomically positioned cooking zones, enables full visibility as well as the placement of various utensils in front or behind the cooking area. This hob is also distinguished by its unique electronic control, enabling temperature regulation through simply moving a finger over a multipoint scale on the surface of the hob. A complete overview of hob operation is provided by an electronic display.

Easy-to-clean filters

Metal filters in the Gorenje hoods, which are designed to remove fat particles, can be easily removed and cleaned. You can wash them by hand or in a dishwasher using a gentle wash programme. However, acrylic or paper filters used for the same purpose can be simply replaced with new ones.
Superior performance, ease of operation
The extraction capacity of a cooker hood should match the size of the room the hood is designed to ventilate. Contemporary trends in home design, where the kitchen has become a place for eating and entertaining, as well as cooking, also calls for a higher capacity hoods. To ensure effective ventilation of a 50 m2 room, a hood with an extraction capacity of 300 m3/h is required. However, in Gorenjes comprehensive range of hoods you will also find highcapacity models featuring a maximum extraction rate of 811 m3/h. Gorenje hoods can be operated mechanically or by easy to use elegant touch control. The rate of extraction can be adjusted by up to four different fan speed settings. Important: Before selecting a cooker hood, please check with your retailer to ensure that the hood chosen is suitable for your hob. This is particulaly relevant if a hob wider than 60 cm is used. When installing a hood over an induction hob, condensation may form on the hood. This is normal. Gorenje will not hold any consequential liability due to this. If in doubt, please speak to your retailer.
Extraction vs. re-circulation
Dependant upon your requirements you can choose between extraction and re-circulating hoods. Extraction hoods draw in cooking fumes and trap vapours through in a filter while expelling odours to the outside through a ventilation duct. Recirculating hoods draw in steam and odour saturated air through a filter, then returns the treated air into the kitchen. For superior performance, a carbon filter (available separately) can also be installed.

Easy clean filter

Filters can be cleaned by washing either by hand with mild detergent, or in a dishwasher using a 65oC programme. It is suggested to clean the filters roughly every two months.

Automatic programme selection
The automatic programme enables you to wash your dishes within two temperature ranges (e.g. glassware in lower temperature, less fragile dishes at a higher temperature). The sensors continually monitor the water in the dishwasher, identifying impurities and adjusting their operation accordingly, so as to deliver perfectly clean dishes whilst also ensuring the optimal consumption of water, energy and time.

Clear water sensor

The water quality sensor monitors water purity until the water is completely free of impurities. This result in significantly reduced water consumption when washing lightly soiled dishes while delivering perfect cleaning results every time.

Perfect drying

Perfect drying is achieved by using the residual heat from the last hot rinse. As the inside of the appliance housing cools down faster than the dishes, the remaining steam condenses on the interior of the dishwasher, drains to the bottom, and evaporates; which result in perfectly dried dishes.

The highly functional Click-Clack system has been designed to provide optimum space for dishes and pans as required. AquaStop anti-flooding system
In case of leakage or flooding, AquaStop automatically cuts off the water supply while the pump siphons the residual water out of the dishwasher basin. It remains fully functional for the duration of the working life of the appliance.
Prevent temperature shocks
As special heat exchanger gradually increase the water temperature in the dishwasher preventing cold water from flowing over hot surfaces, so your dishes are not exposed to temperature shocks. Hygiene is also improved as the heat exchange allows effective drying without using air from outside the machine. When the dishwasher is opened after washing, you will not experience clouds of steam.

THE FIRST interactive touch control machines
Gorenje developed the first washing & drying machines in the market. The artificial intelligence touch control screen guides you through the logical selections on the easy-to-read interactive LCD display in the language of your choice.

Intelligent load sensor

The load sensor weighs the washing and automatically suggests the correct amount of detergent required. This gives valuable savings by optimizing your detergent use but never at the expenses of wash performance.
The sensor makes sure your laundry is perfectly clean without too much rinsing. During the second rinse cycle, the sensor checks how clean the water is. If the result is not satisfactory, the washing machine performs up to three additional rinses to ensure the clothes are clean.

Foam sensing

Too much foam makes for a poor wash. Gorenjes washing machines sense the amount of foam produced during the wash cycle. If too much foam is detected, up to 3 automatic rinses ensure your clothes will always be properly cleaned.

4D soaking

It quickly brings water and detergent into contact with laundry both from bottom, the top (the shower system) and the sides (jet system). This soak your clothes much faster and better.

Special drum design

Gorenje develops a special 3D rib that makes clothes fall directly into the center of the drum, in order to achieve the best tumbling result. And the machines feature a variety of tumbling rhythms that ensure optimum intensity for each textile. More than a thousand specially designed holes produce a perfect spinning effect.

Wash Wizard

Stylish sliding soap dispenser
Gorenje Premium Touch washing machine is fitted with a unique sliding soap dispenser, which automatically slides in and out at the touch of a button. The functionally designed, easy-to-clean dispenser features three compartments and makes it easy to determine just the right amount of detergent and wash aids of all types.

Detergent Saving System (DSS)
Gorenje washing machines feature a special, environmentally friendly Eco system, which prevents the loss of detergent during water intake. This saves up to 20% on detergent costs and effectively helps protect the environment.
AquaSTOP effective protection
Selected washing machines feature a multiple protection safety system, which is highly effective against any leakage. The system includes a valve on the water tap, a floating switch at the bottom of the washing machine tub, and an automatic water pump. In case of an inlet pipe failure, a mechanical device cuts off the flow of water into the tub. More advanced models have a water leak sensor installed in the bottom panel, which if there is any water leakage automatically shuts off the valve on the inlet pipe.

Special rack for sport shoes
