GP Batteries Launches GP PowerBank Rapid 2 Designed to Suit the Tastes of Trendy Consumers GP Batteries International Limited today announced the launch of the GP PowerBank Rapid 2 which charges two pieces of GP 2100 series (AA size) or 850mAh (AAA size) Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) rechargeable batteries in about two hours. Featuring a contemporary, stylish design and weighing only 111.5g, GP PowerBank Rapid 2 is designed with equipped intelligent safety controls including negative delta voltage charge termination, temperature sensor and timer safety control. It also features a dual coloured LED to indicate charging status and an AC100-240V adaptor for worldwide use.
GP PowerBank Rapid 2 comes with two ultra high performance GP2100 Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) rechargeable batteries. GP 2100 series is perfect for high-drain appliances such as digital cameras, MP3 players, CD players, personal digital assistants, electric toothbrushes and electronic shavers. With up to 1,000 recharge cycles for general use, GP 2100 series NiMH is also an environmentally friendly choice that brings long-term cost savings to consumers. GP PowerBank Rapid 2 is available from September 2004, at Carrefour, Challenger, Cold Storage, Giant, Guardian, Harvey Norman and Home Fix for a retail price of S$49.90.
