To replace sound device batteries: Using a screwdriver, open the battery cover on the device. Insert new batteries. Replace the cover and tighten the screw.
BATTERY SAFETY
Do not put the batteries in backwards. Positive (+) and negative (-) ends must be inserted in the correct directions following the polarity (+/-) diagram in the battery compartment. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used. Do not mix old and new batteries. Rechargeable batteries must be removed before recharging. Rechargeable batteries must be recharged by an adult only. Batteries must be installed and removed by an adult only. Remove exhausted batteries and dispose of them properly. Do not try to recharge non-rechargeable batteries. The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.

When youve finished, turn the switch on the sound device to OFF ( ). If you forget, the device will turn itself off after a few minutes. To fold the floor panel: Hold the floor panel like a diamond. Pinch the opposite corners with your fingertips. Bring your hands together. The panel will collapse as you fold it.

Wilderness Elk and Mule Deer Hunt in Montana
First-time donors Mills Wilderness Adventures of Montana have donated one of their Wilderness Elk and Mule Deer combination hunts. The winning bidder can choose to hunt in the Bob Marshall or Scapegoat Wilderness and the hunt length will be 8 or 9 days depending on the area chosen. Available dates are: White River - Bob Marshall Wilderness - Hunt III Oct. 5-Oct. 12 (9 days) and Lost Cabin Creek Scapegoat Wilderness - Hunt III Nov 10 - Nov. 17 (8 days). Successful bidder should contact the outfitter as soon as possible to determine if other hunts dates are available. Both hunts are classic Western hunts and are conducted from horseback and on foot. The hunter is responsible for their own transportation to and from Montana and lodging the night before and after their hunt. Lodging costs are approximately $80/night. Mills Wilderness Adventures of Montana is based in Augusta, MT with the closet airport being Great Falls. The outfitter will provide transportation to and from Great Falls. 2011 Special Pronghorn Antelope Auction Tag SA
The Oregon Department of Fish And Game has authorized the Eastern Chapter of the WSF to auction a 2011 Special Antelope Tag. This tag is for one Buck Pronghorn Antelope. The 2011 season dates are August 1 to September 30, 2011. The Special Tag allows for the harvest of a buck antelope in any hunt area within the Oregon Wildlife Boundaries as defined in the 2011 Oregon Big Game regulations except special area closures as defined in the Oregon Big Game Regulations. Greenland Muskox on Victoria Island SA
This four-day hunt can be taken from March 21 to April 16, 2011 or similar dates in 2012. The point of outfitting is Cambridge Bay, Victoria Island, Nunavut, Canada. Cambridge Bay on Victoria Island bills itself as the Muskox capital of the world. Cambridge Bay came by the title honestly because southern Victoria Island has a population of 30,000 of these ice age big game species that inhabit the entire island, which has a population of 45,000 Muskox. Muskox can frequently be seen just a few miles from town. There is a no hunting zone for Muskox within a 5 mile radius of the town so that Muskox are within easy access to tourists. The accommodations on this hunt are in heated plywood cabins. The camps are about a 4- to 5-hour snowmobile drive from the village. The following are included: transportation from Cambridge Bay to the hunting area by snowmobile; services of a licensed guide with a snowmobile; all gas and oil for the snowmobile; camping gear such as tent, foam mattress, stoves, pots, pans and dishes. A second Muskox can be taken for a cost of $2,500.00 and must be pre-arranged and pre-paid. A non-hunter observer is welcome at $2,500.00. 5-Day Mountain Lion Hunt in Colorado
Aaron Laske of Wilderness Adventures Inc. has donated to us in the past and generously donates to us again. He is providing a 5-day mountain lion hunt for one hunter on private and or on public land wherever the cat is available in GMU 85, and or wilderness area GMU 82, and or GMU 76, 79, 80. Included in this hunt: five full hunting days; team of trackers hunting from either ATVs or 4x4. Several trackers will look for tracks on fresh snow every morning in many different prime locations and will take the hunter to the biggest track found to pursue the cat. This is a weapon-of-choice
hunt: bow, pistol, or black powder. Aaron has a record of 110% for treeing lions for hunters, and has a 99% kill ratio. He only takes few hunters each season. The condition for this hunt is to have the hunters approximate the dates of arrival and then await for Aarons phone call confirmation to proceed pending snow fall within 48-hour window timing. Hunter Abed Radwan of AR Hunting Consultant highly recommends this hunt. Many other references are available. Not included: travel to Alamosa, Colorado; hotel, meals, hunting license/tag and car rental. Extra days after the five hunting days can be added at $700.00 per day. This is a 6-day hunt in Newfoundland Canada for a Trophy Bull Moose. The hunt can be taken in 2011 or 2012 and you can arrange your dates directly with the outfitter. Alaskan Trapline Adventure SA
This is a 7-day trap line adventure for 2 people in Tok Alaska. Run the 25 miles of trapline on snow machine with Sue and/or Franks Entsmingers on their winter Alaskan trapline. The season on marten and mink run until the end of February. Fox, lynx, and wolverine run until March 15 in GMU 12. Wolverine close January 31 in GMU 13. Wolves and coyote are open till the end of April. Beaver and muskrat are open until June 10. March is a great time for wolves as they are more vulnerable during mating season. Use an electronic predator caller to see if you can lure a wolf into shooting range. Accommodations during the adventure will be in the Entsminger home when youre not out in the Arctic Oven Tent calling wolves or coyotes. Matt will take you out on a flight to check his trapline, which covers a 50 mile radius from their homes. You get to keep one each of the animals taken. Taking in the full experience of the trapline, you will work with the outfitter in caring and skinning the animal. All meals, accommodations and trophy preparation are included in the donation. Stone Sheep Hunt in British Columbia SN
This is a classic 15-day horseback hunt for a Stone Sheep Ram. This hunt is provided by Larry & Lori Warren of; Tuchodi River Outfitters. The dates of the hunt are scheduled for August 14th to August 29th, 2011, no alternate year available. The cost of hunting a Stone Sheep continues to increase as the quotas of tags are being reduced. The Tuchodi River area has a good population of sheep and Tuchodi River Outfitters maintain a high success rate on harvesting mature Rams. The hunts includes 1 on 1 guide service and most of the hunting will be conducted from one or more of the many spike camps in Larrys area. Hunting from horseback allows the party to cover more in ground in search of a trophy Ram. The hunter is responsible for transportation to and from Fort Nelson, B.C. as well as the air charter to base camp which is approximately $1,050. In the 2010 season 3 people from the Eastern Chapter hunted stone sheep with Tuchodi River Outfitters and all were successful including our 2010 Stone sheep raffle winner and director Jeff Fuhses daughter Joan. 21-Day Rocky Mountain Bighorn Hunt SA
First time exhibitor and donor Peter Whitlow has donated a 21-day Rocky Mountain Bighorn Hunt in area 439 of Alberta. Area 439 is the next area north of the Cadomin mine area and produces trophy rams every year. The high bidder will need to fly to Edmonton, Alberta and take a bus to Hinton, Alberta where he can overnight prior to the hunt. The buses run 4 times a day and it is about a 3-hour trip. The outfitter will pick you up at the hotel and it is a 4 hour ride to base camp from the trail head. Base camp consists of wall tents, a cook and cook tent and even a shower. This is a horseback style hunt with all meals and trophy care included. The outfitter has a high success rate on rams of the 160 class and higher. Several chapter members have harvested their bighorn rams for their Wild Sheep Foundation with Peter including; Nayo & Sylvia Balderrama and Eastern Chapter Vise President, Jim Wilson. If the hunter picks the second hunt period it is possible to harvest a Black Bear or a Mule Deer on a trophy fee basis with the appropriate tags. The hunter is responsible for the 5% GST tax, the non-resident license & tag which is approximately $700.00 and transportation to and from Hinton, Alberta. This is a 2011 donation only! Additional hunt space is available at the rate of $28,000.00 and a non-hunter is welcome for $200.00 per day.

Predator Hunt in Alberta SA
Long-time supporters Brian & Peggy Cockell have added a second donation for our 2011 convention. This donation takes place on their ranch in North Central Alberta. The donation is for 2 hunters hunting coyotes and wolves for 5 days. The dates of the hunt can be scheduled for January or February 2012. The hunt includes 1 on 1 guiding using predator calls and the use of a combination of quads, 4 X 4 pick-ups and hiking to access the hunting area. California Bighorn Hunt SA
Darrell Schneider and Ashnola Guide Service are certainly no strangers to the Eastern Chapter and will be returning to exhibit at our 2011 convention. For our 2011 convention they have donated one of their coveted California Bighorn hunts. These hunts have been virtually 100% successful as long as the hunter is in shape and willing to hunt hard. The donation includes 7 full days of hunting with one-on-one guiding, all meals, cabin accommodations and transportation to and from the airport in Penticton, British Columbia. The outfitter offers hunts at low or high elevations and this is generally a horseback-style hunt. These tags are very limited and you do not see California Bighorn hunts on an auction list very often. The hunter is responsible for the non-resident license and the sheep tag fee, as well as the non-resident preservation fund. You can find a list of the current license and tag fees on GOABC website. Hunter's Choice in Alaska FN
Alaska Trophy Hunts is donating a hunters choice for our 2011 convention. The lucky high bidder can choose to hunt one of the following three animals; a Dall ram, brown/grizzly bear or Alaskan/ Yukon moose. The hunt is for 10 days and includes your guide, food, and super cub transportation from base camp to your spike camps. Most of the hunting takes place in GMU -19 unit which is about 150 air miles from Wasilla, Alaska. Toms base camp features wall tents with cots, a separate cook tent and many other amenities for your comfort. All spike camps have satellite phones for communication with base camp. This is a ten-day horseback hunt for a trophy Stone Sheep Ram in the Yukon. The hunt includes 1-on-1 guide service, all meals, trophy care and accommodations while hunting. Alaskan Brown Bear Hunt SA
This is a ten-day Brown Bear hunt aboard the 64 foot M/V Surveyor along the protected waterways of the inside passage of Southeast Alaska.
