BIGBEN AND MARVEL ISSUE THE GRANDMASTERS CHALLENGE
ANNONCING MARVEL SUPERHEROES 3D: GRANDMASTERS CHALLENGE London, UK 1st November 2010 International publisher Bigben Interactive in association with Marvel Entertainment has today announced Marvel Superheroes 3D: Grandmasters Challenge, a new adventure in the Marvel universe exclusively for Nintendo Wii. Set for release on 26th November, Marvel Superheroes 3D: Grandmasters Challenge will offer an alternative mix of strategy and action for Marvel fans of all ages.
The supervillain Grandmaster has imprisoned a quintuple of Marvel heroes SpiderMan, Captain America, Thor, Iron Man and Wolverine in a deadly game purely for his own amusement. The heroes are forced to play along and complete a variety of challenges designed to test their abilities to their limits as the Grandmaster manipulates them like pawns on his own private board game. Up to four players can participate to compete against the Grandmaster and his band of villain henchmen, all the while joining forces to break the dome and win their freedom.
Marvel Superheroes 3D: Grandmasters Challenge will be bundled with a selection of five superhero masks one for each of the lead characters to lend an added level of immersion for younger superheroes! Each mask is embedded with relief 3D glasses in the optical outlets, allowing players to experience the title in a third dimension. The 3D mode can be switched on and off at will from an in-game menu and can be experienced on any display with no additional technology.

The Super Villain, Grandmaster, is on the Earth and he has decided to have some fun at the expense of the five most powerful Super Heroes of the Marvel universe: Wolverine, Captain America, Thor, Spider-Man, and Iron Man. He has cooked up a despicable plan. He has imprisoned them into an intergalactic dome where he manipulates them like pawns! In order to get away, our heroes have to face many challenges through all kinds of game phases. During the Board Game" phases, the heroes must join forces to destroy the dome and escape. In the action phases, up to 4 players can embody their favourite heroes and use their powers to defeat the Grandmaster and the Villains!
How do you fight the Villains? With Spider-Man, swinging through buildings and spinning webs With Captain America, shielding yourself from attacks With Thor, summoning the thunder with his hammer With Iron Man, flying with his armour and destroying sentinels with his lasers With Wolverine, letting his adamantium claws do all the talking.

Gameplay

Able to transcend space, time, and other world dimensions, the Grandmaster has come back to Earth for some entertainment. During his trip, he discovers Iron Man, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Captain America, and Thor, trying to defend one of the S.H.I.E.L.D.s research facilities from a major attack by Dr. Doom. Intrigued by the Super Heroes impressive powers and tactics, Grandmaster decides that it's time to really put them to the test with his very own evil invention, called the Game Dimension. Marvel Super Heroes 3D Grandmasters Challenge is the first ever action game in first-person view with stereoscopic 3D (relief) that was designed specially for children ages 4 and up. The 3D mode can be easily activated or de-activated. With the Super Hero masks, the 3D effects and the action scenes in firstperson view, children really feel like they are playing as their favourite heroes, and up to 4 of them can play at the same time!

Spider-Man
He swings from one skyscraper to another, spins webs, traps enemies, avoids attacks. Spider-Man will have to do all of the above to get out of the dome where he is a prisoner.

Iron Man

Iron Mans armour will have to be strong enough to resist his opponents attacks and his lasers powerful enough to destroy the sentinels that attack him.

Captain America

Captain America will have to make good use of his shield to stop the Grandmaster's attacks.
Will his hammer and the thunder he summons be enough to destroy the dome that holds our super heroes captive?

Wolverine

Wolverine will let his adamantium claws do all the talking to help his friends escape from the villains and the Grandmaster!
