While we dont claim the other brands of flashes can withstand continuous flashing at accelerated rates, we know that most photographers will only need short bursts of rapid recycling flashes and will be able to get them with a Lumedyne Cycler helping the recycle time. The Lumedyne Cyclers are protected from damage and guaranteed to perform for years, however we are not responsible for other brands of flashes. In all cases, the other brand of equipment will likely fail long before the Lumedyne equipment is nearing the end of its life. Lumedyne suggests that you treat these small flashes with care and only use the accelerated recycling rate when necessary. Some photographers damage their flashes during testing, trying to reach the maximum possibilities of the Lumedyne Cyclers. Always remember that the small flashes were not made to keep up with a Lumedyne, rather the Lumedyne Cycler is made so your flash can keep up with you. Keep up the good work. Use these professional Cyclers with care and you should experience years of outstanding results. The connection cables evolving toward digital cameras (like the D-100) are done at low voltage directly from the battery. Some cables may be available with voltage regulators for other cameras.
