1. Power Source
The set should be operated only from a 220-240V AC, 50 Hz. outlet. Ensure you select the correct voltage setting for your convenience.
DONT continue to operate the equipment if you are in any doubt about it working normally, or if it is damaged in any way switch off, withdraw the mains plug and consult your dealer.
Be sure to ground the connection properly.
2. Power Cord

4. Cleaning
Before cleaning, unplug the set from the wall outlet. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners. Use soft and dry cloth.
5. Ventilation
The slots and openings on the receiver are intended for ventilation and to ensure reliable operation. To prevent overheating, these openings must not be blocked or covered in anyway.
6. Heat and Flames
The set should not be placed near to naked flames and sources of intense heat,such as an electric heater. Ensure that no naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, are placed on top of the set
7. Lightning
In case of storm and lightning or when going on holiday, disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet.
The LCD panel is very high technology product with about a million thin film transistors, giving you fine picture details. Occasionally, a few non-active pixels may appear on the screen as a fixed point of blue, green or red. Please note that this does not affect the performance of your product. Preparation
For ventilation, leave a space of at least 10 cm free all around the set. To prevent any fault and unsafe situations, please do not place any objects on top of the set. Use this product in moderate climates, operating temperature range for this product is 0-40 Degrees Celsius. Note: Remove the battery from remote control handset when it is not to be used for a long period. Otherwise it can be damaged due to any leakage of battery.
To start installation process, select Yes, to cancel select No. To select an option Yes or No, highlight the item by using _ / ` buttons and press the SELECT button. The IDTV will automatically tune to the UHF transmision channels 21 to 68 looking for digital terrestrial TV broadcasts and displaying the names of channels found. This process will take about five minutes. To cancel searching, you can press the "M" button at any time during the process.
To switch the TV off
Press the (stand-by) button on the remote control or On/Off switch on the TV, so the TV will switch to stand-by mode. To power down the TV completely, press Power On/ Off button or unplug the power cord from the mains socket.
Navigating the Menu System
1- Press M to display the menu. 2- Press b or a button to select an icon. Press ` for more options.
After Automatic Search process is completed, the following message asking for analogue channel search appears on the screen. TV switches to the analogue TV mode.
4- Press _ or ` buttons to change the settings. Press OK to set as default. 5- To exit the menu or return from sub-menu screen, press M. These explanations are available for the navigation of the whole Menu System. To select options that are explained in the following parts, refer to Navigating The Menu System.

Basic Operations
You can operate your TV using both the remote control and onset buttons.
Operation with the buttons on the TV
Volume Setting
Press - button to decrease volume or + button to increase volume, so a volume level scale (slider) will be displayed at the middle of the bottom on the screen.
Programme Selection
Press P/CH + button to select the next programme or P/CH - button to select the previous programme.
Entering Main Menu
By pressing _ / ` button, adjust the Country item and press b to highlight Language item. Use _ / ` button to set Language. Use _ / ` buttons to select TXT Language and set it by using _ / ` buttons. Press OK button to continue: Press the MENU button to enter Main menu. In the Main menu select sub-menu using P/CH - or P/CH + buttons and enter the sub-menu using - or + buttons. To learn the usage of the menus, refer to the Menu System sections (pages 15 or 21).
In the EPG Menu all channels are displayed. Current channel is highlighted. Use a / b buttons to change or buttons to make page channels. Also press up/down scroll for the channels. If you highlight an event, short event description, extended event description, start and finish times of event are displayed on the screen. When the current programme is highlighted, the box is switched to the highlighted channel by pressing the SELECT button. If you press the SELECT button when a next event is highlighted, a reminder is set for the highlighted programme and a clock appears across the highlighted channel line. Programme reminders can be set to signal that a programme is about to start when you are watching another channel. If you set reminder to a programme, then you will be asked for switching to that channel when the reminder time is reached. Press the M button to view the 7 day EPG. Press a / b button to navigate in Channels or Programmes. Press _ / ` button to navigate through the channel and programme list.
The information banner gives a number of facts on the channel selected and the programmes on it. The name of the channel is displayed, along with its channel list number and an indication of the strength of the signal received on this tuning channel. Hint Not all channels broadcast the programme data. If the name and times of the programmeis not available then No Information Available are displayed in the information banner. Icons are also displayed in the information banner and if this channel is a favourite channel: Favourite channel icon.
If the selected channel is locked, you must enter the correct four digit code to view the channel.
See page 16 for details.
Electronic Programme Guide (EPG)
Some, but not all, channels send information about the current and next events. Please note that event information is updated automatically. If there is no event information data available in channels, only channel names with No Information Available banner is displayed. Pressing the GUIDE button again exits EPG menu. In EPG Menu, you can easily see the extended help information by pressing INFO button and by press With RED/GREEN buttons you can change sched-

ule time. By pressing YELLOW/BLUE you can advance the schedule backward / forward of a day. If you press INFO button you can see the detailed help information easily. And by pressing INFO button again you can exit Help menu. The starting time for EPG is the current time.You can see the event information for the next two hours. By pressing a / b button, you can go to the next/ previous hours while Programmes list is highlighted. lf you press the SELECT button when a next event is highlighted, a reminder is set for the highlighted programme and a clock appears on the screen. Programme reminders can be set to signal that a programme is about to start when you are watching another channel. If you set reminder to a programme, then you will be asked for switching to that channel when the reminder time is reached.

IDTV Menu System
The IDTV menu can only be shown when watching Digital terrestrial broadcasting. Press the button to turn IDTV on while TV is in analogue mode. Press the "M" button. The menu below appears on the screen:
To watch a specific channel, highlight it using a / b button and then press SELECT button, while the SELECT item on Channel List menu is highlighted by using _ / ` button. Then the name and number of the selected channel will be displayed in the top-left and top-right of the channel display at the top-right of the screen, respectively.

Channel List
Using the a / b button on the remote control in Main menu, make sure that the first item, Channel List, is highlighted and press the SELECT button to display the Channel List. The following operations can be performed in this menu: 1. Navigating the whole list of channels 2. Deleting channels 3. Renaming channels 4. Adding locks to channels 5. Setting favourites Channel List is the place where the channels are managed. Press the SELECT button to delete the highlighted channel in the channel list. Then the message below appears on the screen.
Press _ / ` button to highlight the desired option. If SELECT button is pressed while Yes is highlighted, the highlighted channel is deleted. Selecting No cancels the delete operation.
Renaming channels
To rename a specific channel, the channel must be highlighted via pressing a / b button and then highlight the Edit Name item by pressing _ / ` button. Press the SELECT to activate rename feature.

Setting Favourites
You can set various channels as favourites so that only the favourite channels are navigated. To set a favourite you should highlight the Favourites item at bottom of the Channel List menu. Use the _ / ` button to highlight the Favourites item at the base of the screen and then, in turn, highlight each channel you want to add to the favourites list, using the a / b buttons (or press the SELECT button. Now pressing _ / ` button moves to the previous/ next character. Pressing a / b button toggles the current character, i.e., b character becomes a by b and c by a. Pressing the numeric buttons 0.9 replaces the highlighted character with the characters printed above the button one by one as the button is pressed. Press the "M" button to cancel the editing or SELECT button to save the new name. / buttons), and

see the programme numbers and names assigned to the programmes. If you do not accept the locations and / or the programme names, you can change them in the Program menu.

Highlight the Subtitle line in the Configuration menu and use the _ / ` button to cycle through Off and language options. Favourite mode This function enables or disables the favourite channel list mode. See Channel List menu Favourites on page 16. Use _ / ` button to turn on/off favourite mode. If the Favourite Mode is on, in normal operating mode pressing P+ and P- buttons will only navigate through the channels that were previously defined as favourites in Channel List. EPG Preference Digital terrestrial television channels can broadcast simultaneous Next&Now and 7-Day electronic programme. Highlight the EPG Preference line in the Configuration menu and use the _ / ` button to select Next&Now or 7-Day. Receiver Upgrade The IDTV can be upgraded via the configuration menu, entered from the main menu. In the Configuration menu, highlight the Receiver Upgrade item by pressing _ / ` button and press the SELECT button to start upgrade process. There are two possibilities for Receiver software to be upgraded: automatic and manual.
Configuration
Press the "M" button to display the Main Menu and the b button twice to highlight Configuration, then press the SELECT button to display the Configuration menu. Press the "M" button to leave the menu.
The various configuration functions are displayed in a list, along with a quarter-screen image of the currently selected channel. You can select a function by highlighting the corresponding menu line using the a / b button.
Audio Language Digital terrestrial television channels can broadcast simultaneous soundtracks in more than one language. This function selects which language soundtrack you will hear when switching to a channel broadcasting with the multiple soundtracks. Highlight the Audio Language line in the Configuration menu and use the _ / ` button to cycle through the language options. Subtitle Digital terrestrial television channels can broadcast subtitles displayed on-screen for the hard-of-hearing. This function selects the desired subtitle language Automatic Download (Automatic upgrade) Automatic Download can be enabled or disabled by pressing _ / ` button. If it is enabled, then there are two ways for automatic upgrade. The first one is checking the existence of a new software every time the IDTV goes to standby. The second one is waking up at 03:00 a.m. every night, provided that the IDTV is left in standby mode. Both automatic upgrade methods result in standby mode either upgraded or not. If the automatic upgrade is set to Disabled then this function will not work. Search For New Version (Manual upgrade)

Manual upgrade starts if the Search for New Version item is highlighted by using a / b button and activated via pressing the SELECT button. After Search for New Version is activated, the IDTV tunes to each frequency that have been stored in its database and looks for the new software.
Timers
You can set a timer to switch the TV to any channel without your intervention. This is also for making video recordings of programmes when you are out. Display the Main Menu by pressing the "M" button. Highlight the Timers line by pressing a / b button and press the SELECT button to display the Timer menu.
Parental Settings Some channels broadcast material which you do not want younger members of the family to watch. Any channel can be locked so that it cannot be selected for viewing without first a four-digit PIN code being entered. In this way any channel not suitable for younger viewers can be protected. This function enables or disables the menu protection system and allows the PIN code to be changed. Use a / b button to go to Parental Settings option. Press the SELECT button to enter Parental Settings Menu. A box asking for the lock key is displayed. Up to five separate timer events can be set and each is displayed in the Timer screen, showing the event number, the channel to be selected, the start time, end time, date and the mode - whether that event is active (and will be acted on) or not.
There is only one key which is set to 0000 initially. Enter lock key. If wrong Lock key is entered, the following message is displayed on the screen and it is returned back.
If it is correct, the Parental Settings Menu including following items is displayed:
There you can set/reset locking for the Main Menu, or the Installation Menu to restrict access. If the menu lock is disabled, there will be free access to the menu system. Also in this menu you can change the lock key and set/change parental lock mode. Disabled: All menus are unlocked. Main Menu: Main menu is accessible only with the correct lock key. So the user cannot add, delete, rename, move channels, cannot set timers. Installation: Installation menu is locked, so the user cannot add channels. Changes will be updated after exiting Configuration Menu.
To set an event, highlight its mode button using the a / b button and press the SELECT button to display the timer entry window.
Here the five settings of channel name, start time, end time, date and frequency mode can be set. You can move freely between each setting using the a / b buttons.

The channel name is set using the _ / ` button to display the channel which broadcasts the programme. The start time, end time and date are each set with the digit buttons on the remote control in 24-hour format. The frequency mode determines how often the receiver operates this event and is set with the a / b button to be either Once, Daily, or Weekly. If an invalid number for the start or end times or the date is entered, Entered time is not valid message appears on the menu. If timer action occurs while the TV is watched, the TV switches to the selected channel. When timer expires, the TV switches to the channel which it is switched from. Selected digital channel will be output via Scart-2. You should connect your VCR to Scart-2 for recording digital broadcast.
TV Setup
To be able to go through TV functions, you can use this item. The digital TV Setup menu screen is accessed from the main menu. Press the "M" button to display the main menu and use a / b button to highlight TV Setup, press the SELECT button to display TV Setup menu screen.
Language
Some programmes are broadcast in two or more languages simultaneously. The language heard can be selected from the Language Menu. Press the "M" button to display the Main Menu and use a / b button to highlight the Language line and press the SELECT button. Detailed information about Sound, Picture and Feature menus are in AnalogueTV Menu System section on page 21.

Use the a / b button to highlight the soundtrack language required and press the SELECT button. Normal viewing, with the required language soundtrack, can be resumed by pressing the "M" button.
Common Interface
Press the "M" button to display the Main Menu and use the a / b button to highlight the Common Interface line and press the SELECT button.

It is required to subscribe to a pay channel company to view the pay channels of the Digital Terrestrial broadcasting. Obtain the Conditional Access Module (CAM) and the Viewing card by subscribing to a pay channel company, then insert those to the Television using the following procedure.

1. Switch off the TV and unplug from the mains. 2. Insert the CAM, then Viewing Card to the slot that is located in the terminal cover at the left-hand side of the TV (from front view). The CAM should be correctly inserted, it is impossible to insert fully if reversed. The CAM or the TV terminal may be damaged if the CAM is forcefully inserted. 3. Connect the TV to the mains supply, switch on and then wait for few moments until the card is activated. Some CAMs may require the following set up. Please set the CAM by entering the IDTV menu, Common Interface then pressing the SELECT button. (CAM set up menu is not displayed when it is not required.) To see the viewing contract information: Enter IDTV; press the "M" button, then highlight Common Interface and press the SELECT button. When no module is inserted, No Common Interface module detected message appears on the screen. Refer to the module instruction manual for details of the settings.

In picture menu if PC,YPbPr or HDMI modes are selected, resolution information is displayed at the bottom of the menu osd.
By pressing a / b button, select Mode. Press _ / ` button to choose from one of these options: Cinema, Dynamic and Natural.
Contrast/Brightness/Sharpness/Colour/Hue By pressing a / b button, select the desired Option.
In the Feature menu, highlight PAP item by pressing a / b buttons. Press ` button to enter PAP submenu:
PIP ON-OFF
You can activate or deactivate PIP mode by pressing / button.
PIP Picture
Press button to enter PIP Picture submenu. Adjustments of Contrast, Brightness, Sharpness, Colour, Hue, Reset and Store items in this part are identical with Picture menu in the Menu System. Refer to Picture menu explanations in the previous parts.
PAP ON-OFF
You can activate or deactivate PAP mode by pressing / button.
PAP Picture
Press button to enter PAP Picture submenu. Adjustments of Contrast, Brightness, Sharpness,

Colour, Reset and Store items in this part are identical with Picture menu in the Menu System. Refer to Picture menu explanations in the previous parts.
PAP Source
Select PAP Source item by using a / b button. Use / button to set PAP source. Note: When main picture source is TV, EXT-1, EXT-2, FAV or S-VIDEO, PIP Window can only be set to HDMI, YPBPR, PC source or vice versa.
Note: If the currently watched source is analogue TV, a connected device displays analogue TV source as well. If this source is set to digital mode, connected device displays digital source. In order to avail this function, EXT-2 Output should be set to TV/DTV.
PC Audio In
By pressing a / b select Pc Audio In.By pressing _ / ` button, you can change the PC Audio In to TV, EXT-1, EXT-2, FAV, YPbPr Audio, PC Audio or FAV.
PAP Programme
Select PAP Programme item by using a / b button. PAP Programme is displayed at the bottom of menu OSD. Use / button to set PAP Programme. You can also use digit buttons on the remote control to set PAP Programme.
Blue Background
You can set the TV to automatically change to a blue screen if the signal is weak or absent, or when there is no input from an external device. The Blue Background feature can be turned on or off by pressing _ / ` button.
PAP Swap
Select PAP Swap item by using a / b button. Use / button. This function enables to swap between the main and the PAP picture.
Sleep Timer
By pressing a / b select Sleep Timer.Press _ / ` button to set the Sleep Timer. The timer can be programmed between Off and 120 minutes in steps of 10 minutes.
Search
By pressing a / b button, select Search. Press _ / ` button to start program searching.You can also enter the desired frequency via digit buttons when search item is highlighted.
By pressing a / b button, select Store. Press or OK button to store the adjustments. Stored. will be displayed on the screen. In source menu, highlight a source by pressing a / b button and switch to that mode by pressing or OK button. Source options are; TV, DTV, EXT-1, EXT-2, EXT-2 S, FAV, S-VIDEO, HDMI, YPBPR and PC. Note: You can mark desired source options by pressbutton ing OK button. Therefore, when is pressed, only the marked source options will be available.

PC Mode
Power off both Computer and Display before making any connections. Set your PCs resolution correctly before connecting to the TV. See the table on Appendix page. Use 15-pin display cable to connect a PC to the LCD TV. Note: PC menu will not be active for TV sets without a PC input.
H (Horizontal) Position
This item shifts the image horizontally to right hand side or left hand side of the screen. Select H Position item by using Use
_ / ` button to adjust the value.

Poor Picture
Have you selected the correct TV system? Is your TV set or house aerial located too close to non-earthed audio equipment or neon lights, etc.? Mountains or high buildings can cause double pictures or ghost images. Sometimes you can improve the picture quality by changing the direction of the aerial. Is the picture or Teletext unrecognisable? Check if you have entered the correct frequency. The picture quality may degrade when two peripherals are connected to the TV at the same time. In such a case, disconnect one of the peripherals.
Camera And Camcorder
To Connect to AV Input
Connect your camera or camcorder to AV input of the TV. Connect your equipment to the TV via VIDEO (yellow), AUDIO R (red) and AUDIO L (white) inputs. You must connect the jacks into the input with the same colour.
To Connect To S-VHS Input
Connect your camera or camcorder S-VHS input of the TV. Connect your equipment to the TV via S-VHS input and audio inputs of AV inputs by using S-VHS cables.
No Picture
Is the aerial connected properly? Are the plugs connected tightly to the aerial socket? Is the aerial cable damaged? Are suitable plugs used to connect the aerial? If you are in doubt, consult your dealer. No Picture means that your TV is not receiving a transmission. Have you selected the correct button on the remote control?Try once more.

Preparation

Connections to the Aerial Input Socket
Connect the aerial or cable TV plug to the Aerial input socket located at the rear of the TV and connect the cable plug coming out from the TV out socket located on the devices (VCR, DVB etc.) to this socket as well.

Inserting Batteries in the Remote Control Handset
WARNING : Remote control is battery included. A plastic protector is used to disconnect the batteries in order to prevent the battery life from reducing. Switching The TV ON/OFF
To switch the TV on
Your TV will switch on in two steps: 1- Connect the power supply cord to the system. Press Power On/Off button.Then the TV switches itself to stand-by mode (Optional). 2- To switch on the TV from stand-by mode either: Press a digit button on the remote control so that a programme number is selected, or Press the -P/CH or P/CH+ button on the TV or press the P- or P+ button on the remote control, so that last mode switched off is selected. By either method the TV will switch on.
Initial Settings
When the TV is turned on for the first time, it is in the digital mode. Because this is the first time the TV is used, there are no channels stored in the memory and the following message appears on the screen.

To start installation process, select Yes, to cancel select No. To select an optionYes or No, highlight the item by using / buttons and press the SELECT button. The IDTV will automatically tune to the UHF transmision channels 21 to 68 looking for digital terrestrial TV broadcasts and displaying the names of channels found. This process will take about five minutes. To cancel searching, you can press the "M" button at any time during the process.

The remote control of your TV is designed to control all the functions of the model you selected. The functions will be described in accordance with the menu system of your TV. Functions of the menu system are described in the following sections.
Cancel
Press V + button to increase volume. Press V - button to decrease volume. A volume level scale (slider) will be displayed in the middle at the bottom of the screen.
After APS is finalized, a programme list will appear on the screen. In the programme list you will see the programme numbers and names assigned to the programmes. If you do not accept the locations and / or the programme names of programmes, you can change them in Insall Menu. For details see Install Menu section. To display channel list in IDTV, switch to the IDTV via pressing the TV DTV button. Then press the M button to enter main menu, Channel List will be highlighted. Press the SELECT button to enter the menu.
Programme Selection (Previous or next programme)
Press P- button to select the previous programme. Press P+ button to select the next programme.
Programme Selection (direct access)
Press digit buttons on the remote control to select programmes between 0 and 9. TV will switch to the selected programme. To select programmes between 10 - 999 (for IDTV) or 10-99 (for analogue), press the digit buttons consecutively which programme you want to select (eg. for programme 27, first press 2 and then 7). When it is too late to press second digit button only the first digit programme will be displayed. The limit of the delay time is 3 seconds.

Programme reminders can be set to signal that a programme is about to start when you are watching another channel. If you set reminder to a programme, then you will be asked for switching to that channel when the reminder time is reached.
Digital Teletext
With Digital terrestrial broadcasting (DVB-T), in addition to pictures and sound, you can also watch digital teletext. Digital teletext is sometimes broadcast at the same time as normal broadcasting. 1. Press the button. The digital teletext information appears. 2. The operation method may differ depending on the contents of the digital teletext. Follow the instructions displayed on digital teletext screen. With Digital terrestrial broadcasting (DVB-T), in addition to digital teletext broadcasting at the same time as normal broadcasting, there are also channels with just digital teletext broadcasting. The aspect ratio when watching a channel with just digital teletext broadcasting is the same as the aspect ratio of the picture watched previously. When you press the (Text) button again, the digital teletext screen is displayed.
Over Air Download Displaying The Subtitles
With Digital terrestrial broadcasting (DVB-T), some programmes are broadcast with subtitles. Subtitles can be displayed when watching these programmes. Press the M button to display the Main menu, highlight the Configuration line using / button andpress the SELECT button to display the Configuration menu. Highlight the Subtitle item in Configuration menu and use / button to set Subtitle to off or a language. If Subtitle is on via selecting one language option, pressing the button causes the following warning message display on the screen. Pressing the GUIDE button again exits EPG menu.
Interactive services cannot be used while subtitles are on. Would you like to turn subtitles off now? Yes No
To ensure that your IDTV always has the most up-todate information, please ensure that after use it is set to its standby mode. At 3AM each day, the IDTV automatically searches for any new information which may be broadcast and will download this to your IDTV automatically. This operation will normally take approximately 30 seconds. If you want to do this, you need to set Automatic Download to Enabled in Receiver Upgrade setting. For details see page 16.
Widescreen
Depending on the type of broadcast being transmitted, programmes can be viewed in a number of formats. Press the WIDE button repeatedly to select between Auto or 16:9. When Auto is selected, the format being displayed is determined by the picture being broadcast. Please Note: Menu size changes depending on the chosen image size.

Press the OK button to start installation. After search is completed for digital channels, a message asking search for analogue channels appears on the screen.
Add New Channels Automatic Search First Time Installation Manual Search
Automatic Search: Automatic search is started by pressing the OK button in the auto-search pop up menu. All the services are searched and a channel table is created automatically. All channels found are stored in a sorted form with respect to their channel numbers. Some services may not appear with the correct channel number. At the time of printing, not all broadcasters are sending their channel number information. Manual Search: In manual search, the number of the multiplex is entered manually and only that multiplex is searched for the channels. For every valid channel number, signal level, signal quality and network name are shown at the bottom of the screen. In both manual and auto search any existing channel in the database is not re-stored to avoid redundant duplicates of that channel. FIRST TIME INSTALLATION The user can use this item to load default settings, which had been loaded to the receiver at the factory. To install factory settings, highlight First Time Installation menu and press the OK button, then you will be asked to confirm for deleting all channels and settings.

Language
Some programmes are broadcast in two or more languages simultaneously. The language heard can be selected from the Language Menu. Press the "M" button to display the Main Menu and use / button to highlight the Language line and press the SELECT button.

Press the "M" button to display the Main Menu and / button to highlight the Common use the Interface line and press the SELECT button.

It is required to subscribe to a pay channel company to view the pay channels of the Digital Terrestrial broadcasting. Obtain the Conditional Access Module (CAM) and the Viewing card by subscribing to a pay channel company, then insert those to the Television using the following procedure.

1. Switch off the TV and unplug from the mains. 2. Insert the CAM, then Viewing Card to the slot that is located in the terminal cover at the left-hand side of the TV (from front view). The CAM should be correctly inserted, it is impossible to insert fully if reversed. The CAM or the TV terminal may be damaged if the CAM is forcefully inserted. 3. Connect the TV to the mains supply, switch on and then wait for few moments until the card is activated. Some CAMs may require the following set up. Please set the CAM by entering the IDTV menu, Common Interface then pressing the SELECT button. (CAM set up menu is not displayed when it is not required.) To see the viewing contract information: Enter IDTV; press the "M" button, then highlight Common Interface and press the SELECT button. When no module is inserted, No Common Interface module detected message appears on the screen. Refer to the module instruction manual for details of the settings.

Dynamic Bass Volume

By pressing / button set Dynamic bass to Low, High or Off. It is not recommended to select High if listening at high volume levels. There is a subwoofer output that can accept an active subwoofer if you wish to create very high levels of Bass. Subwoofer is active only if Dynamic Bass is set to Off.
Equalizer
By pressing / select Equalizer. Press / button to change the Equalizer setting. In equalizer menu, the mode can be changed to Pop, Rock, Jazz, Flat, Classic or User. Select the desired frequency by / button and increase or decrease the frequency gain by pressing / button. Note: Equalizer menu settings can be altered only when the Equalizer Mode is in User.
Subwoofer
It is possible to connect an external, active subwoofer to the set to give a much deeper bass effect. By pressing / button, select Subwoofer. Subwoofer can be set to On or Off. Dynamic Bass is not available if Subwoofer is set to On.
Balance
By pressing / select Balance.Press / button to change the level of the balance.Balance level can be adjusted between -32 and +32.

Fastext
Your TV supports the 1000 page Teletext system. When the page number of any of the 1000 pages in memory is entered, the system will not search for the requested page; instead it will display the page automatically. If the requested page is not in memory, the system will search for the requested page number and save the 1000 pages including the requested page into memory after finding it. Connect Peripheral Equipment
High Definition
Your LCD Television is capable of displaying High Definition pictures from devices such as a High Definition Satellite Receiver or DVD Player. These devices must be connected via the HDMI socket or Component Socket. These socket can accept either 720p or 1080i signals. Note: When it is desired to watch HDMI source with a DVI to HDMI cable; in order to enable audio, Audio Input (which is located at the left side of the antenna input) is to be used to get DVI devices audio signals.
For Fastext
The subject-heading for the information may have a particular colour. Press an appropriate RED,GREEN, YELLOW orBLUE button in order to reach the relevant page quickly.
Via The Scart
The TV has 2 Scart sockets. If you want to connect peripherals (e.g. video, decoder, etc.) which have Scart sockets to the TV, you can use SCART socket of the TV. Note: If an external device is connected via the Scart sockets, the TV will automatically switch to AV mode. If both sockets are employed at the sime time, SCART 1 becomes the preferential.
TOP text
TOP text mode of operation will be activated automatically according to the transmission. If TOP text transmission is present, colour coded buttons will appear in status row. If TOP text transmission is not present, status row will not appear. The subject-heading for information may be located in colored box. In Top mode the -P/CH or P/CH+ commands will request the next or previous page respectively. If TOP text transmission is not available, in case of operation of these commands, wraparound occurs. For example page 100 appears to be one greater than page 199.
Via Aerial Input
If the device you want to connect does not have a Scart socket, you should connect it to the Aerial input of the TV. If the VCR is connected via Aerial input, it is suggested to use Programme 0.
Decoder
If you are subscribed to cable TV offers, the organisation will supply you a corresponding decoder unit to allow the programmes to be unscrambled. For further information consult your dealer.
Connect a decoder with an aerial socket to the TV
Connect the aerial cable.
Connect a decoder without an aerial socket to the TV
Connect the decoder to the EXTERNAL socket of TV with a RCA cable. Through the SCART/RCA socket of the decoder, you may attain a better display resolution.
TV And Video Recorder
Connect the aerial cables. Better picture quality can be obtained if you also connect a Scart cable to SCART sockets.
Playback NTSC
Connect NTSC VCR player to a Scart socket of the TV. Then, press the AV button to select EXT1 or EXT2.

Copy Facility
Source selection for VCR recording. Select Feature menu. Select SCART 2 Out by pressing / button. For copying the picture that comes from the tuner, select SCART 1. Note :Scart-1 socket cannot be used as DTV output. Please use Scart-2 instead.
Care Of The Screen
Clean the screen with a slightly damp, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive solvents as they may damage the TV screen coating layer.
Poor Picture
Have you selected the correct TV system? Is your TV set or house aerial located too close to non-earthed audio equipment or neon lights, etc.? Mountains or high buildings can cause double pictures or ghost images. Sometimes you can improve the picture quality by changing the direction of the aerial. Is the picture or Teletext unrecognisable? Check if you have entered the correct frequency. The picture quality may degrade when two peripherals are connected to the TV at the same time. In such a case, disconnect one of the peripherals.
