The CP-X955 allows the user to display images from diverse information sources accurately and with excellent resolution. For example, reproduction of video and VGA images is extraordinarily crisp and clear. This versatile projector compensates for data loss automatically in order to ensure more natural XGA reproduction. When re-sizing an XGA image to create an S-VGA image, different characters may appear on screen due to the loss of certain pixel information from the image. With Fine Re-Sizing, the image is reproduced with the addition of the lost information from a different frame, resulting in effective re-sizing with only a small overall loss of pixel information.

Ultra High Brightness

The CP-X955 achieves a remarkable light output through a unique combination of features. Advanced optical components transmit the maximum amount of light in a highly uniform beam to the LCD panels. A micro-lens unit over each panel increases the effective aperture ratio enabling the CP-X955 to deliver 1,100 ANSI lumens to the screen. Even under bright room lighting, this high output level ensures superb contrast and clear, natural looking images. The CP-X955s high light output is achieved using a 150W UHP (Ultra High Power) lamp which is rated for 2,000 hours of operation.

Designed for high resolution reproduction the CP-X955 offers true XGA output plus compatibility with a wide range of other resolutions. Using the Genesis Chip, a piece of leading-edge technology that makes possible intelligent data re-sizing both up and down, the CP-X955 produces extraordinarily sharp images from video, VGA, S-VGA and S-XGA sources.

Versatility Connections

The CP-X955 can be connected to two computers (Mac or PC), and two composite or S-video inputs, and will automatically adjust to the frequency of the selected input. PAL, NTSC and SECAM video standards are all supported, and an RGB output allows the projected image to be viewed on a remote monitor.

Ergonomic Operation

The CP-X955 offers a remote control unit with input select, power zoom, screen size and focus, and a built in laser pointer. Other ergonomic features include one-touch screen height adjustment, an integrated lens shutter, a fold away carrying handle and forward facing cooling air discharge. The on-screen menu system is extremely easy to use and PC connection is fully Plug & Play compatible.
