Before pricing out drives, the cheaper 1TB drives with USB-only appeared to be the best option. | It is possible to save some money buy custom building a RAID system yourself, maybe even with a better controller card. I liked the raid, great value for the money! Very Fast (50mb/60mb per sec with firewire). No Comment. All good, works very well none at the moment | |

| First let me start off by commending Overstock for their SUPER FAST shipping! If you set it up for RAID 1 you will have implemented mirroring; that is one drive has its data duplicated on two different drives. | |
