MES / S&P centrifugal fans
MES / S&P ventilators are well known in the proffessional horticulture scene and are one of the most powerful of their kind. Due to the perfect alignment of these motors you are guaranteed very low noise levels, and an optimal result. These motors move more air for your money than any other motor. Simply build your own box around the motor and attach your ducting with the help of flanges, to create a very powerful and economical extractor. A simple equation to find out how much air extraction you will need is: HALF THE TOTAL WATTS OF THE LAMPS + 20%. So for instance a room with 4 x 600W lamps: 600 x 4 = 2400 1/2 = 1200 +20% = 1440 This room will need an extractor fan and carbon filter with a capacity of atleast 1440m3. Always round up so a 1500m3 extractor + a 1400m3 carbon filter is perfect.

Proffessional product. Lasts a lifetime! SonoDec is a high quality, flexible-ducting system that dramatically reduces the noise output from extractor fans. SonoDec is an aluminium ducting around which is lined with another strengthened sheaf containing fibre glass which deadens and absorbs the sound of air as it passes through. SonoDuct does not silence extractors but dramatically reduces noise output instead. Use SonoDuct as you would use normal ducting. For best results use on both the input and output sides of your extractor fan. Reinforced spiraling with added pe/aluminium layers. Aluminium interior, 25mm glass wool wadding with added exterior sealant.

CAN coal filters
CARBONFILTER (2 mm carbon) In carbon filters actived carbon is being used but what is this in fact? Activated carbon is a microscopic form of carbon made of peat, wood or coal. Activation takes place through steam or a chemical process. Through this process a network of pores on a molecular level is created with an enormous internal surface. This surface can cover up to 2000 m2 per gram activated carbon. The carbon atoms on the internal surface of the activated coal exert an attraction on the molecules of the surrounding gasses and fluids, the so called 'van der Waals' forces. This attraction is the basis of the mechanism whereby activated carbon can be used to extract one or multiple substances out of a mixture. Usable at humidity up to 80%.

Each CAN carbon filter we supply is fitted with a fabric sleeve to protect the activated charcoal granules from airborne dust which can reduce it's useful life. Ideally you should replace these sleeves every 3 - 6 months with a new one as they become clogged up and dirty restricting airflow.

Carboriginal airfilters is a new brand of carbon filter. It is the result of thorough research and years of experience working on the breeding issue of ventilation. Carboriginal Airfilters, simply called Carboriginals, are available in all sizes which are currently found on the market. These filters are more than 1/2 the weight of the CAN filters and much smaller a size. They do cost more to buy however they do last longer than average filters (14-16 months).
