| Tons of Storage I bought this for personal storage. It gave me a lot of space. All ripped music, pictures and movies and much more. Almost like a HTPC, but not quite Setup: firmware 1.55, which cannot be downgraded to the 1.4x series (for the roll-your-own crowd) Updated to 2. connet to netfilx the portable drive was missing. Idid not know you had to have a router.I have been haveing a hard time geting acts code!!! | |

| The Seagate BlackArmor comes with the USB 3 a... USB 3, good transfer speeds. Great deal if you are willing to spend an ext... Backups are not encoded so you can get to them with your file explorer. 256 AES option. get something else the led light worked other person said they got 3 days that is better then mine i got 24 hours | |

| Failed after six months of moderate home usage. Drive spins up, but will not mount, so unable to run any diagnostic software on it. Worked fine for about 12 months and then started reporting bad sectors. | |

| Good external drive I had this running as a network drive until I replaced it recently. It has served its purpose well. Disaster Foolishly bought two of these in 2008 to back all my digital photos up. | |
