Same problem as so many - monitor fails mechanically soon after your warranty expires. Then HP refuses to help. HP has dominated the printer market and their success with monitors was unknown until I read the Epinion reviews.

I have had it for 3 years now and still no problems. I would recommend this monitor to anybody that is looking for a great monitor. It is 20. This replaced an older flat panel (Compaq) and I have to admit this monitor (which cost $1500 less) shows how rapidly even low end monitor technology ...

The HP w2207 is probably the most popular flat screen LCD ever made. The screen is smooth and the frame feels sturdy and shiny.

The only way to get it to pivot is to run it ...  good resolution When the HP w2207 is installed as a second monitor on a laptop.

This is a great monitor the clarity is amazing I used it at a show to run a video presentation of different floral arrangements and it was unbelievabl... This monitor is the best I have ever owned. I compared it to the Mac monitors and this has a better response time and also a better contrast ratio!
