Q1. We hear that the HP ProLiant ML115 is ideal for small businesses. Why should a small business owner be especially interested in this server? A1. The HP ProLiant 100 Series servers were designed with just the right features to meet the specific requirements of small businesses. These servers are ideal for the applications small businesses use most: networking, file-and-print, shared Internet access, small team email, and LAN infrastructure More importantly, HP ProLiant ML115 servers specifically address small businesses needs for affordability, expandability and performance.
From an affordability standpoint, these resource-efficient small-form-factor towers are powered by AMD processors to provide the most cost-effective servers available.
Expandability is achieved by offering multiple PCI and PCI-Express slots, a four hard-disk-drive capacity, SAS or SATA, and eight USB ports. Four memory slots enable systems to accommodate up to 8GB, and allow users to add memory as needed.

As for performance, Dual-Core AMD Opteron processors with Direct Connect Architecture are designed for server workloads, with the processing power to run multiple tasks and applications simultaneously.
