Firmware maintenance 7.50
p-Class enclosure firmware updates (offline only) - Provides an alternate means for updating this firmware that is not dependent on a server blade. Also helps to easily update enclosure firmware to the minimum version level needed for HP Control Tower. HP Smart Update Manager, the ROM Update Utility replacement, is used to deploy firmware in offline and now online mode on Microsoft Windows and Linux systems. Firmware CD Browser Utility can be used to access all of the firmware updates available on the CD. It allows you to save or install each component in addition to displaying information about the component. USB key creator utility allows the Firmware Maintenance CD to be moved to a bootable USB key.

DVD-ROM Drive Option Kit (Servers)
The 16X DVD-ROM is the next generation of DVD-ROM for ProLiant Servers. It is offered with an industry-standard ATAPI interface and supported on most major operating systems. A DVD-ROM drive is designed to read not only CD-ROM/CD-R discs but also DVD-ROM, DVD-RAM, DVD+R/+RW and DVD-R/ RW discs. It has a maximum speed of 16X with DVD and 40X when used with CD-ROM/CD-R.
