Introducing the 64-Bit/66-MHz Dual Channel Alt OS Wide Ultra3 SCSI Adapter which allows customers to store data at the Ultra 3 SCSI speeds. The flexible 64-bit/66-MHz single and dual channel PCI SCSI adapters provide support for up to 28 SCSI devices with data transfer rates up to 160 MB/s per second.

Performance

Designed as to be as flexible as HP's legendary servers, the HP StorageWorks SCSI adapter family provides support for up to 28 SCSI devices, while only taking up a single PCI slot. HP adapters deliver exceptional system performance, along with up to two separate Wide Ultra3 SCSI channels that each provide up to 64-bit/66-MHz bus-master capabilities, transferring data as fast as 160 MB/s between storage subsystem and system memory. Fully integrated and tested with the entire line of ProLiant servers and management software. HP Server Integration Improves performance by accepting commands simultaneously, sorting efficiently and minimizing Tagged Command response time. Queuing HP's dual channel adapters are ideal for high-end tape drives, tape automation and disk storage Suggested Solutions solutions such as the Ultrium 460 & 230 tape drives, SDLT 320 & 220 tape drives, both ESL and MSL Series Libraries, and the StorageWorks 43xx Enclosure.

Fault Tolerance

Supports software-based fault tolerant configurations available under NetWare.

Compatibility

Available for all HP PCI server configurations and compatible with a variety of SCSI devices, including hard drives, CD-ROM drives and tape drives.
