The F2-1001T is a set-top box perfectly suited for receiving the ever-growing digital terrestrial broadcasts from free-to-view channels. Following the conversion from analog to digital broadcasting by all public and private broadcasters in Berlin-Brandenburg region, other parts of Germany as well as main European regions will begin digital terrestrial broadcasting in 2004, with most of the conversion completed by 2010. Requiring only an aerial or indoor antenna, digital terrestrial broadcasting offers viewers not only the ease of set up but mobility as well. Viewers can now enjoy both outstanding stability and comfort in this affordable set-top box loaded with the very best technology HUMAX can offer. The simple installation and operation, user-friendly threedimensional OSD, highest quality audio output and advanced video clarity are all designed to enrich the viewer experience. In addition, F2-1001T boasts the Electronic Program Guide (EPG) and information plate that enable subtitles and teletext for a bounty of useful information on programs and broadcast signals. Software upgrade notices are posted periodically on the Internet homepage, and new versions can be updated through automatic software upgrade service (OTA).
