Safety aspects
The H-1 Van delivers a new level of safety for all vans. Interior vehicle protection that is amongst the worlds most advanced. From optimum surface padding and the use of non-toxic and inammable materials for the trim and upholstery, to the inclusion of SRS front driver and passenger front airbags, the H-1 Van is designed and built to deliver occupants comfortably and safely. This includes front driver and passenger seatbelt pretensioners and load limiters, 3-point lap diagonal ELR seatbelts, height adjustable front seatbelts and active head restraints for the driver and front passenger. Beginning with a high tensile steel body, Hyundai have built inherent toughness and passive safety into the core of the H-1 Van.Combined with a rigid body link of oor panel, roof panel and reinforced cross member, the H-1 Van has been designed to carry the impact forces away from its most precious cargo, the occupants. The H-1 Van also features as standard, highly sophisticated safety attributes designed to help prevent accidents from occurring in the rst place. These include Hyundais advanced Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) and Electronic BrakeForce Distribution (EBD) which applies optimum pressure to individual brakes in emergency braking situations. The H-1 Van also has BAS (Brake Assist), a system which will apply maximum force to the brakes during emergency stopping situations. These braking technologies work in harmony with the H-1 Vans ABS (Anti-skid Braking System) for greater security and reassurance. A fully automatic locking differential is also standard so that the multi-talented and capacious H-1 Van can tackle territory and conditions which would normally require special vehicles.

ESP - Electronic Stability Programme
The H-1 Vans ESP system, an advanced standard safety feature, helps you remain in control of your vehicle during critical situations to avoid serious accidents. The ESP system achieves this by comparing the drivers intention with the momentary vehicle behaviour and controls the Antilock Braking (ABS) and Traction Control Systems (TCS) accordingly, to initiate the appropriate corrective action by selectively braking individual wheels and controlling engine power. This stabilises the vehicle and keeps it on track.

To provide peace of mind, and as an added safety feature for all who use the H-1 Van, all vans are equipped with a special safety pack that includes: a re extinguisher, reective safety vest and rst aid kit.

Comfort zone

The H-1 Vans suspension is designed to be remarkably exible. It is sufciently robust to cope when the vehicle is fully laden, yet remains compliant enough to provide the occupants with a comfortable ride whatever the load, or the road.

Quick movements

Tight corners in city centres or on small country roads are no challenge to the H-1 driver. Despite having a length in excess of ve metres, the vehicles turning circle is no more than 5.6 metres (radius).
Front and rear disc brakes
Large and powerful disc brakes are standard on the front and rear wheels. These enable the H-1 Van to provide the optimum level of stopping performance required when the cargo or passenger van is fully laden.

The power and agility to perform under pressure every day is what sets the H-1 Van apart. At its heart, the H-1 Van delivers a remarkable high performance power plant which will more than exceed your expectations for performance, endurance, fuel economy and reliability. The H-1 Vans mighty 2.5 litre turbocharged Common Rail Direct injection (CRDi) diesel engine, delivers a phenomenal 125 kW of power at 3800 rpm and colossal torque of 392 Nm at 2000 rpm. It features a leading edge Variable Geometry Turbo (VGT) to deliver power and plenty of it, when you need it, while also being remarkably frugal on fuel consumption. Reassuringly this environmentally friendly engine also complies with stringent EURO IV emission regulations. The H-1 Vans seamless automatic transmission with sequential sports shift, allows you to enjoy manual style sequential shifting without the need for a clutch (available on Cargo Van only). The automatic transmission optimises performance and fuel economy, offering a relaxed drive wherever you are. Or for those who enjoy the hands on thrill of driving a manual, the H-1 Vans 5-speed manual transmission, available on both the Cargo and Passenger van, features a dual mass ywheel to reduce drive train noise and increase driving pleasure. Fuel economy and shifting is maximised, thanks to optimised gear ratios and smooth synchros. The suspension of the rear-wheel drive H-1 Van features an extremely exible design. Utilising MacPherson strut suspension with coil springs and gas-lled shock absorbers at the front, and a Leaf spring suspension and gas-lled shock absorbers (Cargo Van only) or Rigid axle multi 5-link suspension with coil springs and gas-lled shock absorbers (Passenger Van only) at the rear, the H-1 Van delivers an exceptionally smooth ride regardless of the size of load or the state of the road conditions.

The sound system is ergonomically incorporated into the dashboard. Its impressive features includes: an in-dash MP3 compatible CD player, AM/FM radio and internal amplier with four (Cargo Van only) or six (Passenger Van only) quality speakers (Passenger Van interior shown).

Air conditioning

The H-1 features an efcient, effective and simple to operate air conditioning system. The rotary type setting controls are easy to use and easily accessible by both driver and passenger (Passenger Van interior shown).

Window side guard bars

For ultimate security of cargo the H-1 Van features dual side luggage area window guard bars (Cargo Van only).

Power window switch

For driver convenience, the power window controls including the automatic window down switch are only a nger-tip away. The electric exterior mirrors control unit is also conveniently placed on the door rest so it can be easily adjusted from the driving position.

Dual cup holders

The centre front facia and console between the driver and front passenger contains a retractable cup holder to safely store bottles, cans or cups.
Electric chromic rear-view mirror
This rear-view mirror automatically senses and reduces light intrusion from following vehicles, dramatically reducing eye fatigue in tough and dark conditions (Passenger Van only).

Six-colour changing dual rear LED cabin lamps
The cabin can be vibrantly illuminated by a choice of six ambient colours thanks to the dual roof-mounted LED interior lamps (Passenger Van only).
Rear roof side airconditioning vents
