| For starters, the D40x is heavily menu-dependent; few settings can be accessed directly by an external control. The Nikon D40x makes a very nice first dSLR, though experienced SLR shooters looking for a Nikon should spend the extra cash for the D80. Quite a popular camera - Nikon have released a follow up called the D40X. | |
