IMSI has updated TurboCAD Mac Pro, a professional CAD application that enables Mac users to create innovative designs for a wide range of activities, as well as the industries revolving around them. The software is packed with professional level 2D drafting tools, 3D modeling tools, and thousands of parts, symbols and floorplans, according to Apple, whose latest staff pick is TurboCAD Mac Pro 4.0 SP1. According to Apple's Downloads section, "TurboCAD Mac Pro also offers feature-rich photorealistic rendering, animation and superior interoperability. Developed for the needs of designers, mechanical and industrial engineers, architects, builders, and contractors will find it an excellent drafting companion," IMSI assures those who are considering to pick up on the $500 software. "The photorealistic rendering in TurboCAD Mac Pro brings ideas to life," the company adds on its web site. "Clients and manufacturers all see exactly what you imaged so you can successfully sell your ideas." IMSI says that TurboCAD Mac Pro is Graphic Design Compatible, meaning users can easily import their graphic designs files into TurboCAD and turn them into precision CAD drawings with dimensions. Additionally, one can export to technical drawings from TurboCAD into desktop publishing formats. According to IMSI, this is perfect for use in brochures and all other marketing materials.
