Fractus the choice of leading Korean mobile phone producer Innostream
Client Innostream, one of the top ve Korean mobile phone producers. Innostream is growing quickly following the October 2004 announcement of a strategic partnership with international mobile phone developer Emblaze. Geographies Worldwide Challenges In early 2004, Innostream began developing a new mobile phone the clamshell Inno 50 - that required a dual band GSM internal antenna. Solution Research of regional antenna companies indicated that Fractus Korea had signicant experience of the development and integration of internal antennas, and had the international experience Innostream required. Fractus also had an established R&D and production facility in Seoul. Innostream senior engineer Mr. Doma said Fractus support had been excellent, ensuring the development of the optimum antenna for the Inno 50. Early chamber tests of phones indicated that antenna performance easily fullled Innostreams requirements, and eld tests showed that the antennas out-performed those of leading competitors. Fractus antennas are now used in Innostream Inno A10 and P10 model phones, and an antenna is being developed for the Inno P20 slider phone which will be released late in 2005. This will be a very slim, high end model including a multiband GSM, two megapixel camera, MP3 player and Bluetooth communications.
