OPERATION MANUAL
Thank you for buying this JB Systems product. To take full advantage of all possibilities and for your own safety, please read these operating instructions very carefully before you start using this unit.

FEATURES

This unit is radio-interference suppressed. This product meets the requirements of the current European and national guidelines. Conformity has been established and the relevant statements and documents have been deposited by the manufacturer. This device has been designed to produce decorative effect lighting and is used in light show systems. Multicolor plastic tubes with RGB LEDs inside, used to change the color of walls, ceilings, etc. in all kinds of venues: bars, discotheques, taverns, shops, Infinite applications possible: fix the strips behind translucent plexi panels to create slowly changing colored surfaces, ceilings and walls Mounting clips and screws included. Solid 4pin connectors with security lock. To be used with our LED-MANAGER (dmx power supply) Longlife LED Technology!
The cables should always be in perfect condition: switch the LED Manager immediately off when the cables are squashed or damaged. This appliance must be used with the LED Manager: dont connect the unit to any dimmer pack or other power supply. In the event of serious operating problems, stop using the fixture and contact your dealer immediately. The housing must be replaced if it is visibly damaged. Please use the original packing when the device is to be transported. Due to safety reasons it is prohibited to make unauthorized modifications to the unit. Important: Dont use the effect in the presence of persons suffering from epilepsy.

DESCRIPTION:

BEFORE USE
Before you start using this unit, please check if theres no transportation damage. Should there be any, do not use the device and consult your dealer first. Important: This device left our factory in perfect condition and well packaged. It is absolutely necessary for the user to strictly follow the safety instructions and warnings in this user manual. Any damage caused by mishandling is not subject to warranty. The dealer will not accept responsibility for any resulting defects or problems caused by disregarding this user manual. Keep this booklet in a safe place for future consultation. If you sell the fixture, be sure to add this user manual. Check the contents: Check that the carton contains the following items: Operating instructions LED STRIP 2 Plastic mounting clips + screws 1. 2. 3. 4. LED Strip enclosure with high intensity LEDs inside. Plastic mounting clips, including screws. Special female 4-pin connector: output to the next unit. Special male 4-pin connector: input from the previous unit.

MECHANICAL INSTALLATION

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
To protect the environment, please try to recycle the packing material as much as possible. Do not expose this appliance to rain or moisture. To avoid condensation to be formed inside, allow the unit to adapt to the surrounding temperatures when bringing it into a warm room after transport. Condense sometimes prevents the unit from working at full performance or may even cause damages. This unit is for indoor use only. Dont place metal objects or spill liquid inside the unit. If a foreign object enters the unit, immediately disconnect the installation setup from the mains power. Prevent use in dusty environments and clean the unit regularly. Keep the unit away from children. Inexperienced persons should not operate this device. Maximum save ambient temperature is 45C. Dont use this unit at higher ambient temperatures. Make sure the area below the installation place is free from unwanted persons during rigging, de-rigging and servicing. The electrical installation should be carried out by qualified personal only, according to the regulations for electrical and mechanical safety in your country.

Important: The installation must be carried out by qualified service personal only. Improper installation can result in serious injuries and/or damage to property. Overhead rigging requires extensive experience! Working load limits should be respected, certified installation materials should be used, the installed device should be inspected regularly for safety. Make sure the area below the installation place is free from unwanted persons during rigging, de-rigging and servicing. The device should be installed out of reach of people and outside areas where persons may walk by or be seated. Before rigging make sure that the installation area can hold a minimum point load of 10times the devices weight. Install both mounting clips in a safe way. Make sure that the surface is strong enough and the screws have excellent grip in the mounting surface. Click the LED STRIP(s) in the mounting clips. The device should be well fixed; a free-swinging mounting is dangerous and may not be considered! The operator has to make sure that the safety-relating and machine-technical installations are approved by an expert before using them for the first time. The installations should be inspected every year by a skilled person to be sure that safety is still optimal. Hint: You can install the LED STRIP(s) also behind translucent plastic panels to create color changing walls and ceilings or in a bar you can install the strips under a translucent shelf to lighten bottles and drinking glasses from the bottom.

ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
The electrical installation should be carried out by qualified personal only, according to the regulations for electrical and mechanical safety in your country. VERY IMPORTANT: Check the user manual of the LED Manager for the maximum allowed power on its outputs! Do not exceed this maximum allowed power! To know the total power consumption of all LED products in a chain you simply have to count up the power consumption of all units in the chain. Check the chapter specifications at the end of this manual to see the power consumption of the different LED STRIPS! After installing the units just daisy chain the in/output cables of all LED STRIP units until you reach the maximum allowed load. Make sure to fasten the plastic ring of the connector. Optional extension cables are available in 1m and 5m lengths. After checking that the maximum allowed power is not exceeded, you can connect the chain to one of the outputs of the LED Manager. Example: You have to install 11x 1m-LED STRIP and 6x 0,5m LED STRIP 11x10W + 6x5W = 140Watt. This chain can be connected to one of the LED Manager outputs since it does not exceed the allowed 150W.
