| wont charge off of my old ipod photo wall charger unit. these newer ipods dont come with some of the accessories that the older ones did. You should invest in a case because your going to want to protect this bad boy, another thing to invest in is a screen protector. Exactly what I needed so I have my music, e-books, and apps in one place, thats not my phone Battery life is a little cheezy. | |

FIXTURE CLEANING
The cleaning of internal and external optical lenses and/or mirrors must be carried out periodically to optimize light output. Cleaning frequency depends on the environment in which the fixture operates: damp, smoky or particularly dirty surroundings can cause greater accumulation of dirt on the units optics.
Clean with a soft cloth using normal glass cleaning products. Always dry the parts carefully. Clean the external optics at least once every 20 days. Clean the internal optics at least every 30/60 days.

2Preprogram functions
The unit can be linked together as master/slave in daisy chain in linkage as many units as required and run by built in preprogrammed chase sequences automatically or by sound activation. Not need to set the dipswitches in master/slave mode. 2-light show Dipswitch 10 off means the unit works normally and on means inversion. In order to creating a great light show, you can set dip switch 10 on on any unit that is linking to the master unit to get contrast movement to each other, even if you have two units only. Dipswitch 10 on the first unit is no use in the DMX linking, as it is the master unit that operates the light show.
3By easy controller
The easy remote control is used only in master/slave mode. By connecting to the 1/4 microphone jack of the first unit (its DMX input plug is not used), you will find that the remote control on the first unit will control all the other units for stand by, shutter and slow/fast function. Shutter function is only effective while the button is held down. It has three modes. 1. The first presssynchronous strobe. 2. The second presstwo-light show strobe. 3. The third pressgobos and colors strobe at random.

Termination reduces signal errors and to avoid signal transmission problems and interference. It is always advisable to connect a DMX terminal. (Resistance 120 ohm 1/4W) between pin2 (DMX-) and pin3 (DMX+) of the last fixture.
A DMX512 system requires a controller, lighting equipment and cable. These are connected together in a daisy chain with the terminator at the end. The cable cannot be branched or split to a Y cable. The terminator requires a 90-120 Ohm 1/4 Watt resistor soldered between two signal cables. The DMX512 uses a very high-speed signal. Inadequate or damaged cables, bad solder joints or corroded connectors can easily distort the signal and shut down the system. A reliable DMX512 system starts with good quality cables. Each lighting unit needs to have an address set to receive the data sent by the controller. The address number is between 0-511. The end of the DMX512 system should be terminated reducing signal errors. 3 pin XLR connectors are more popular than 5 pin XLR. 3 pin XLR: Pin 1: GND, Pin 2: Negative signal (-), Pin 3: Positive signal (+) 5 pin XLR: Pin 1: GND, Pin 2: Negative signal (-), Pin 3: Positive signal (+)
ELC 24V 250W
Always switch off the mains supply and never handle the lamp or luminaire when it is hot. Do not touch the bulb with bare hands. If this does happen, clean the lamp with denatured alcohol and wipe with a lint free cloth before installing.

To protect the environment, please try to recycle the packing material as much as possible. A new light effect sometimes causes some unwanted smoke and/or smell. This is normal and disappears after some minutes. To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose this appliance to rain or moisture. To avoid condensation to be formed inside, allow the unit to adapt to the surrounding temperatures when bringing it into a warm room after transport. Condense sometimes prevents the unit from working at full performance or may even cause damages. This unit is for indoor use only. Dont place metal objects or spill liquid inside the unit. Electric shock or malfunction may result. If a foreign object enters the unit, immediately disconnect the mains power. Locate the fixture in a well ventilated spot, away from any flammable materials and/or liquids. The fixture must be fixed at least 50cm from surrounding walls. Dont cover any ventilation openings as this may result in overheating. Prevent use in dusty environments and clean the unit regularly. Keep the unit away from children. Inexperienced persons should not operate this device. Maximum save ambient temperature is 45C. Dont use this unit at higher ambient temperatures. The units surface temperature may reach up to 85C. Dont touch the housing with bare hands during its operation. Make sure the area below the installation place is free from unwanted persons during rigging, de-rigging and servicing. Allow the device about 10 minutes to cool down before replacing the bulb or start servicing. Never repair a fuse or bypass the fuse holder. Always replace a damaged fuse with a fuse of the same type and electrical specifications! In the event of serious operating problems, stop using the fixture and contact your dealer immediately. The housing and the lenses must be replaced if they are visibly damaged. Please use the original packing when the device is to be transported. Due to safety reasons it is prohibited to make unauthorized modifications to the unit. Important: Never look directly into the light source! Dont use the effect in the presence of persons suffering from epilepsy.
9. DMX output: 3pin female XLR-connector used to connect the Winner (or Rover) with the next unit in the DMX chain or with another Winner (or Rover) when used in master/slave mode. 10. Scanning mirror (Rover: barrel) 11. Button used to control the music sensitivity
LAMP (RE)PLACEMENT
In case of replacement of the lamp or maintenance, do not open the fixture within 10 minutes until the unit cools down after switching off. Always unplug the unit before servicing! Always use the same type of spare parts (bulbs, fuses, etc.) When replacing parts, please only genuine spare parts. Switch off the unit and unplug the mains cable. Wait for about 10 minutes until the unit has been cooled down. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the screw that closes lamp compartment of the fixture. On the inside you will see the lamp socket. Tear the lamp socket gently out of the lamp compartment. Unplug the old lamp. Hold the lamp socket while unplugging the lamp instead of pulling the cable! Hold the lamp socket while pressing the new lamp gently in the socket. Attention! Check the label on the backside of the device or see the technical specifications in this manual to know which lamp should be used. Never install lamps with a higher wattage! Lamps with higher wattage generate temperatures the device was not designed for. If the device uses a lamp transformer, it will burn due to current overload. Dont touch the bulb inside the reflector of the lamp with bare hands! This drastically shortens the lifespan of the lamp. If you touched the lamp, clean it with a cloth and a little denatured alcohol. Wipe the lamp off before installing. Put the new lamp back inside the unit. Be sure that the wires dont touch the lamp. Close the lamp compartment with the screw. Done!

Important: The installation must be carried out by qualified service personal only. Improper installation can result in serious injuries and/or damage to property. Overhead rigging requires extensive experience! Working load limits should be respected, certified installation materials should be used, the installed device should be inspected regularly for safety. Make sure the area below the installation place is free from unwanted persons during rigging, de-rigging and servicing. Locate the fixture in a well ventilated spot, far away from any flammable materials and/or liquids. The fixture must be fixed at least 50cm from surrounding walls. The device should be installed out of reach of people and outside areas where persons may walk by or be seated.
OVERHEAD RIGGING
Before rigging make sure that the installation area can hold a minimum point load of 10times the devices weight. Always use a certified safety cable that can hold 12times the weight of the device when installing the unit. This secondary safety attachment should be installed in a way that no part of the installation can drop more than 20cm if the main attachment fails. The device should be well fixed; a free-swinging mounting is dangerous and may not be considered! Dont cover any ventilation openings as this may result in overheating. The operator has to make sure that the safety-relating and machine-technical installations are approved by an expert before using them for the first time. The installations should be inspected every year by a skilled person to be sure that safety is still optimal.
Synchronous strobe in white color Two-light strobe in white color Every time you push the FUNCTION-button while the Winner (or Rover) is in SLOW mode (MODE led is on) the colors/gobos of the connected units change. 4. Controlled by universal DMX-controller: The DMX-protocol is a widely used high speed signal to control intelligent light equipment. You need to daisy chain your DMX controller and all the connected light effects with a good quality XLR M/F balanced cable (ex. JB Systems ref. 7-0063). To prevent strange behavior of the light effects, due to interferences, you must use a 90 to 120 terminator at the end of the chain. Never use Y-splitter cables, this simply wont work!
CONTROLLING THE WINNER (OR ROVER)
1. Standalone 1unit: Just connect the unit to the mains and put on some music. The unit will start working automatically to the rhythm of the music. 2. Two or more units in master/slave setup: Connect 2 or more units together using good quality balanced XLR microphone cables (like for example JB Systems code 7-0063). The unit that has no cable connected to its input will react as master; the others are the slave units. You dont have to worry about the settings of the DMX DIP-switches! It is only possible to inverse the behavior of a slave unit by changing the position of DIP-switch n10. Just try it and see if the effect becomes better. Changing DIP-switch n10 on the master has no effect. 3. Connect the optional CA-8 controller for more control: The CA-8 controller can only be used in standalone or master/slave mode. Connect the controller to the jack input of the first unit (master). Now you can control all the connected units: STANDBY BUTTON: Press this button to start/stop blackout mode on all connected units. The led is ON when the blackout function is active. After about 30sec. blackout, the lamp will be switched off automatically to extend its lifetime. MODE: (fast/slow) When the led is off, the Winner (or Rover) is in FAST mode. The beam movements and gobo/color wheel are both sound activated. Press the button to switch the led on; now the Winner (or Rover) is in SLOW mode. The beam movements are sound activated but the gobo/color wheel is static and can be controlled with the FUNCTION-button. FUNCTION BUTTON: (strobe/next) Push the FUNCTION button while the Winner (or Rover) is in FAST mode (MODE led is off) the units will strobe in 3 different ways: Strobe with different gobos/colors JB SYSTEMS 5/48 WINNER2 / ROVER
