AutoQuad PLUS

Automatic shifting within range (AutoQuad PLUS) optimizes productivity and reduces fuel consumption. It reads the throttle and engine rpm to upshift or downshift as needed. For example, it will upshift when the engine is over 2000 rpm and the throttle is at 85 percent. Choose Power or Eco mode. Power mode is best with heavy loads and large implements where the full torque range is required. Eco mode reduces engine rpm when shifting occurs and saves fuel during lighter work and transport. Theinnovative John Deere IVT combines the versatility of ahydrostatic transmission with the efficiency of a planetary drive. The result is seamless speed changes and an infinite range of drive ratios.
The hand declutch on PowrQuad PLUSand AutoQuad PLUS-equipped models lets you shift ranges without using the clutch pedal. Simply press the button on the range lever to disengage the clutch.
The IVT Selector lets you adjust for the task at hand. Choose 1 for PTO applications. Position 2 is for heavy draft applications, such as plowing. Position 3 minimizes fuel consumption in light tillage, planting, and transport.
Instantly change your direction with the left-hand reverser, while you keep your right hand on the controls. The PowerZero function holds the tractor atzero speed to eliminate rollbacks, even under load or on inclines.

Nitrogen-filled accumulators take upshock loads and act as springs. Dual-acting hydraulic cylinders act independently or in unison to dampen shock loads while maintaining traction. Rugged outer planetary final drives provide the extra loadcarrying capacity and strength to handle the high horsepower and steering torque of these tractors.
The drive bearing mount is spherically cast for strength and attaches thedriveline to a rugged frame crossmember.
Triple Link Suspension II (TLS II) improves traction, lets you increase field speeds, improves comfort, and helps you stay in control. In addition to smoothing out rough fields, TLS helps keep the front wheels in contact with the ground for greater effective pullingpower. Bumps and jolts are absorbed by the system, so you work in comfort while increasing speed and productivity. TLSalso gives you impressive versatility. Infarmyards or feedyards, itautomatically adjusts tofront-end loads for steady performance. Tillage and planting operations benefit, since power hop is virtually eliminated. For serious pulling power and heavy-load transport needs, the TLS axle isalso available with hydraulic differential lock and wet-disk brakes.
Both non-suspended MFWD options give you a five-degree caster angle fortight turns, even with narrow tread spacings. A high-pivot-point axle mounting allows the front axle to oscillate nine degrees before contacting theaxle stops. This helps the wheels maintain better ground contact. MFWD has electrohydraulic, automatic engagement, or you can manually engage or disengage the MFWD on the goif needed.
The sculpted full-length frame not only protects the engine and drivetrain from external stress, it allows for an extremely tight turn radius, even with large tires or narrow tread spacings.

Thats why these tractors offer you the ability to customize flow rate and time with TouchSet convenience. With up to 45 gpm flow, youll get lightning-fast response and power to all cylinders. Thats 40 percent more flow than prior 7000 Series models! Mechanical SCV controls are standard on PowrQuad PLUS- and AutoQuad PLUS- equipped tractors. Or choose optional electrohydraulic SCV controls (standard on IVT-equipped tractors) for greater convenience and control. Get up to four rear SCVs and three mid-mount valves. The closed-center, pressure-and-flow compensated system provides ample flow even at lower engine rpm, soyou can gear up, throttle back, and still be productive.
Implement Management System (IMS) isan exclusive feature that all operators will appreciate. You can program IMS to perform up to20 functions with the push of a single button, such as disengaging the PTO, disengaging the diff-lock, and raising the implement at the end of the row. After the turn, just push a button to set up perfectly for the next pass. Operator error and fatigue will diminish, making the last pass of the day just as easy as the first. Plus, simplifying complex turning sequences quickly turns less experienced operators into productive operators.
Optional electrohydraulic control levers, located oneither the right-hand console or CommandARM, give you fingertip control ofup to four SCVs. A joystick controls two mid-mount SCVs (if equipped) withoptional third function on/off valve, for seven total hydraulic valves.
Mechanical hydraulic control levers are standard on PowrQuad PLUS- and AutoQuad PLUS-equipped tractors. Up to four SCVs can be controlled. Flow and detent can beadjusted from external controls, located below the rear window.
