Standard on all 7030 Premium models, the PowerTech Plus engine takes the lead when it comes toengine technology. Advances include a 4V-CR design (four-valves per cylinder, common-rail fuel delivery), variable geometry turbocharger, exhaust gas recirculation, dual temperature cooling, andmore. Its alldesigned to deliver worldclass torque, power, engine response, and fuel efficiency. In addition to a seven percent power bulge and constant hightorque characteristics of the 4V-CR design, optional Intelligent Power Management gives you added power when you need it fortransport or mobile rear PTO work. Five percent biodiesel blend (B5) canbeused for all 7030 Series Tractors, provided that fuel specifications, storage, and use guidelines prescribed by John Deere are strictly followed. It comes paired with the PowrQuad Plus Transmission, and features 2V-CR design (two valves-per-cylinder, common-rail fuel delivery). Available on all 75 to 93 PTO kW (100 to 125 PTO hp) models, italso boasts many ofthe benefits of the4V-CR PowerTech Plus engine, including dualtemperature cooling, viscous-drive fan, and electronic engine management. The 2V-CR PowerTech E features excellent torque reserve upto 35 percent to deliver plenty of lugging ability.

Efficient turbochargers are sized specifically for the tractors horsepower for maximum efficiency.
Dual Temperature Cooling (on both 2V and 4V engines) provides a large-sized main radiator and centralised, maintenance free heat exchangers for highly efficient cooling underneath a compact hood design. And to gain more pulling power, more comfort, andmore productivity, add TLS Plus (Triple-Link Suspension) to your 7030 Premium model and watch productivity jump! TLS Plusabsorbs bumps hydraulically, sothe tractor keeps pulling in anyterrain. You get a smoother ride,too.

TLS Plus is a true independent suspension system, so front wheels follow ground contours individually. It absorbs bumps hydraulically instead of passing them to the frame and cab. You maintain better traction and increase pulling power. Plus, you can increase operating speed and comfort level. Select from three modes: Auto, Max, and Manual: Auto Mode uses frequency and positionsensors for dynamic control inall conditions. Max Mode stiffens the front axle for loaderchores. If you do a lot of onroad transport, youll appreciate these touches: Optional beacon lights integrate into the lighting controls. Link 1: Aheavy-duty conical casting encloses the driveline and transfers longitudinal forces to the tractors centre of gravity. Hydraulics and Hitch
From tillage to seeding and spraying to mowing, all Premium Series Tractors feature a pressureand flow-compensated hydraulic system that tackles it all with ease. This closed-centre system isdesigned to conserve energy when no oil is in demand. Pressure increases as needed, for easier steering, increased capacity, and more usable power. The system canhandle the demands of larger implements, matching the increased horsepower, for more workdone at the end of the day. And attaching implements has never been this easy thanks to improved drawbar visibility.
The three-point hitch boasts up to 4808 kg capacity, for plenty ofmuscle for even the heaviest implement. Optional hydraulic centre link on Premium models lets you change hitch geometry from the comfort of the cab, enabling you to make adjustments on-the-go, or easily connect and disconnect attachments. Mechanical SCV controls include a float detent. Electrohydraulic SVC controls can be equipped on any Premium Series model, regardless of transmission, for fingertip command. Convenient hitchcontrol switches arelocated on both fenders to make implement hookups anddisconnects easy. (Premium models only)

How about one thats trained to tackle everyday loader work with ease? 7030 Series Tractors are perfect for loader work and integrate perfectly with JohnDeere 563, 673, 740 and 741 Loaders. You get fast cycle times, dependable performance, outstanding visibility, and easy service access. Plus, you can customise your loader to your specifications; for instance, choose a mechanical or electronic joystick, loader mounting frames (already attached), thetractor-half of a multi-coupler, hood guard, H4beltline lights, anda glass roof hatch for excellent visibility.
An example of true loader/tractor integration: shift gears with your hand still on the joystick. The mechanical joystick control features shift buttons on top, helping you speed up loader chores (Available with PowrQuad and AutoQuad Transmissions only). Thats an advantage you cant get with will-fit loaders. Cast mounting frames are stronger to handle load torque better, increase visibility, and make service easier. The TLS Plus axle can be stiffened for loader chores, giving you the benefits of a suspended axle even while carrying heavy payloads, such as a round bale.

Move materials faster with the optional Loader Suspension System (LSS). LSS absorbs the shock fromjarring ruts and bumps, so you can increase transport speeds while reducing tractor axle stress. Electronic joystick lets you customise joystick sensitivity. With three settings, you can tailor control to your task; the third function is proportional, so you can feather the grapple orbale hugger. (Available only on Premium tractors with IVT).
The left-hand reverser lets you change direction while you keep your right hand onthe controls. The tractor smoothly yet quickly changes direction for jolt-free operation.
22 Headland Management and PTO
If your daily workout involves feeding, mowing, baling, mixing, or any one of dozens ofPTO applications, youll appreciate theconvenience andthe cost savings that these 75 to 104 PTO kW (100 to 140 PTO hp) Tractors deliver. All Premium Tractors can be equipped with a Power Assisted 540/540E/1000 PTO with economy mode. The economy mode lets you reduce engine rpms while maintaining ratedPTO speed, which reduces fuel usage. Engagement on all PTO options is smooth, with amodulated electro-hydraulically operated multidisk clutch. Its also oil-cooled for a long, dependable life. The PTOis fully independent soyou can slow or stop the tractor without disrupting power toyour implements.

More-productive tractors. More-productive operators. On 7030 Premium Series Tractors, the Headland Management System (HMS) can reduce multiple operator manoeuvers with the push of a single button. Depending on how your tractor is equipped, you can program adjustments to the PTO, hitch, MFWD, differential lock, transmission, hydraulics, and more into one button. Youll simplify tractor operation and reduce operator fatigue, sothe last pass ofthe day will be exactly asthefirst. Plus, HMS allows inexperienced operators tobe just as productive as long-time veterans.

Its as easy as 1, 2, 3! 1) Push a button that youve programmed to disengage and adjust the tractor and implement in the sequence you want the operations to be performed. 2) Make your turn. 3) Push the second button (once its programmed) to set up the tractor and implement for the next pass. Thesequence is performed exactly thesameevery time.
PTO activation is done with one-finger ease. The fully independent PTO is modulated and wetdisk-clutch protected for smooth starts.
The reversible shaft for the 540/1,000-rpm PTOislocated ina dry cavity to prevent mess from oil. Just remove thesnap ring to reverse the shaft.
