| This camera has it all 35x optical zoom never miss that shot again from being to far away. We wanted a new compact camcorder primarily for the family, but also for my husband to use for the military and outdoors. This fit the bill great! | |

| "I use this camcorder for job related purposes, and it has worked well for me so far. My only complaint relates to the volume. "The recommendation for the Memory Card is incorrect on the web site. It can not hold the SD4. It holds the Micro SD Card. "I bought the camcorder last week for $359 and I was rewarded with the easy use of the camcorder. I can just flip open the camcorder screen. | |

| Recording Media - This is both Hard Drive (which they market as HD) and MicroSD. After years of borrowing camcorders from friends or family I finally found one I liked enough to buy. | |

| My siblings and I bought this camera for my mom for Christmas. We wanted to get her something to capture her first grandchild. Good & smart thing. JVC Everio GZ is good for home user but not for avid video editors. The files are not too user friendly yet. | |

| The HD drop detection is a great feature, helps keep the 30 gig HD in good working condition. One caveat of note for the JVC Everio(s) (and this may very well apply to other JVC models) the video files the camera produces are .mod files. | |

| Over all, I like this camcorder because it is small and easy to carry. Even thougth the 8GB is not enought. I bought this camcorder as we wanted a digital recording device for video of our twin children. Good quality video -- though. This is my first camcorder purchase, and I did a lot of research before buying this camera. | |
