Read all instructions carefully before installing your new Cobra product! 1. Remove (2) Phillips head screws from headlight and set aside. Remove headlight from housing, unplug and set aside. 2. Unplug turn signals from inside of headlight housing. Remove the (2) M8 and (2) M6 bolts from turn signal bar and set bolts aside. Remove (2) Phillips head screws from turn signals and remove from bar. Set M8 screws and turn signals aside. 3. Mount turn signals by inserting the wires through the outside of the supplied turn signal adapters on your Cobra lightbar. Pull the wire and wire loom insulation evenly making sure it does not bunch up inside of the adaptor. Place the stock turn signals onto the adaptors and secure the turn signals by installing the Phillips screws removed earlier in Step 2. 4. Install your new Cobra lightbar by inserting the (2) supplied M6 bolts into the stock mounting location and snug. Insert the M8 bolts removed in Step 2 through outside mount, provided aluminum spacers and into stock mounting location. Align Lightbar and tighten bolts to factory torque specifications. 5. Hold the left turn signal while tightening the turn signal adapter locknut. Repeat on right side. Align the turn signals and spotlights, check to make sure all the bolts are tight. 6. Route the left spotlight wire under the lightbar towards the lightbar switch, take the right spotlight wire and twist together with the left one. Insert the two (twisted together) wires into the supplied push on terminal and crimp with a crimping tool. Connect this to one of the poles on the lightbar switch, it does not matter which one. 7. Connect the 20 power wire to the remaining pole on the lightbar switch. Route the power wire through the back of the headlight housing. Loosely pull slack out of wire and using the 3 supplied zip ties, wrap spotlight, turn signals, and power wire to the lightbar. 8. Locate the 3 wire accessory lead with the flat 3 wire connector inside the headlight housing. Connect the Black power wire from the lightbar switch to the Red with Blue tracer wire using the supplied blue quick splice connector. 9. Reinstall the headlight with (2) Phillips screws removed in Step 1. 10. Check to make sure your handlebars turn from lock to lock without any stretching or binding in any of the wires. Check the alignment of all your lighting. Make sure everything is in proper working order before riding the vehicle.
* NOTE, THIS LIGHTBAR WILL WORK WITH 06 CLASSIC MODELS WHEN USED IN COMBINATION WITH KAWASAKI PART # 44033-0045, FROM THE 06 CLASSIC LT MODEL. IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT A DEALER PERFORM THIS INSTALLATION.

It is recommended that a qualified technician or mechanic install this product. Instructions for Vulcan 900 and Vulcan 2000 1. Unbolt the left handlebar riser cap. 2. Bolt the tachometer mount in its place so the head of the mount is pointing forward by using one of the stock riser cap bolts in the rear tachometer hole and inserting the supplied M10 x 30 mm bolt in the front tachometer hole and tighten to factory specifications. 3. Route the tachometer wires to the back of the headlight assembly. 4. Remove the headlight bezel assembly. Locate the red/blue wire on either the left or right turn signal supply harnesses inside the headlight and place a quick splice on this wire. Connect the tachometer blue/red wire to the red/blue wire. Locate the black/yellow wire inside the headlight and attach a quick splice connector on the wire. Connect the tachometer Black wire to this wire. 5. Remove the chrome cover from the left side of the motor below the gas tank to expose the coils. 6. Route the green tachometer wire with existing wire looms to the front coil (Refer to Figure 1 for VN900 and Figure 2 for VN2000). Place a quick splice on the black coil wire and connect the tachometer green wire to that splice. Zip-tie the tachometer wire to the wire harness. Reinstall the cover. 7. Using a zip tie secure any extra tachometer wire lengths inside the headlight assembly. 8. Reinstall the headlight bezel assembly with the original hardware.
