to use your Choco Latte Deluxe
1 Make sure the base/paddle assembly and tap are correctly assembled to the goblet, then place on the power unit.
Check that the dispensing tap lever is in the off position. Always place the liquid ingredients into the goblet first. Then add the soluble ingredients eg. powdered hot chocolate, cocoa, malted drinks, coffee powder etc., or chopped chocolate. Note: This appliance is not designed to be a blender/liquidiser or to chop solid ingredients. Ingredients for flavouring purposes such as cloves and cinnamon sticks may be used but will need to be dispensed through a strainer before serving. Fit the lid to the goblet and twist to lock into place. Connect the appliance to the power supply and the off/standby button will illuminate. (Note: the light will not glow unless the goblet is fitted). Turn the heating timer to the number of cups being made (see table below) and the unit will operate. During the heating cycle the timer will automatically count down and switch off at completion making an audible noise. The drink will have reached the correct temperature.

7 Place a cup under the tap, press the Frothy Mix button which will illuminate then pull forward the dispensing tap lever. G Using the Frothy Mix button to dispense drinks will make the drink frothier and also help to dispense thicker drinks. 8 When the cup is almost full, release the lever to its off position and switch off by pressing the off/standby button.
hints For best results the drink should be consumed straight away. For extra richness, swirl some fresh cream on top of hot sweet drinks or add a spoonful of freshly whipped cream. The maximum capacity of the Choco Latte Deluxe is 1.25 litres and the minimum 200ml. A 1.25 litre mixture will be ready in approximately 9 minutes. If the goblet doesnt fit easily to the power unit, lift off and turn the drive on the power unit and re-fit. Your Choco Latte Deluxe will also mix cold milkshakes. Pour the cold milk into the goblet then add the liquid or powder flavouring/concentrate and press the Frothy Mix button. Allow to operate for only 1 minute then place a cup under the tap, pull forward the dispensing tap lever. When the cup is almost full, release the lever to its off position and switch off by pressing the off/standby button. At anytime during operation you can switch off the Choco Latte Deluxe by pressing the off/standby button. important Dont use the goblet assembly as a storage container. Keep it empty before and after use. Some liquids increase in volume and froth during mixing eg milk, so do not overfill and ensure the lid is correctly fitted.

However, if food has accidentally been left to dry on, loosen it by filling the goblet with 1.25 litres of water and operate by turning the heating timer to the 10 cup position. Dont wash any part in the dishwasher. Regularly dismantle the tap and clean the parts thoroughly. base/paddle assembly Never immerse in water or allow the underside to get wet. Remove the base/paddle assembly from the goblet. Wipe the upper surface and paddle with a damp soapy cloth, then wipe with a clean cloth and dry thoroughly. Use the brush provided to remove stubborn residue. Dont use harsh abrasives.
