Kenwood Amateur Radio products have been a success since their introduction in the early 1970's. Incredibly some of these very first products are still being used today. Kenwood will continue to service some older models on a case by case basis as indicated with a (*) asterisk. If you choose to send one of these (*) units in for repair, you must call in advance to describe the problem. The ASC or Technical Support may be able to tell you over the phone if they feel there is a chance of repair. Due to changes in technology and lack of sources for vintage parts, Kenwood USA Corporation can no longer support the repair of the models listed below that are not indicated with a (*) asterisk. This policy will eliminate repeat repairs due to multiple failures because of product age. KSC-East, KSC-Pacific or an Authorized Amateur Dealer are no longer authorized by Kenwood to repair the models below that are not indicated with an (*) asterisk. Kenwood is not liable for the cost of the attempted repair or return shipping.
