| This camera is about as close to an SLR as you can get from a point & Shoot. It is feature rich and easy to use. 8.1 mp is very good density. | |

| Considering the size of modern cameras, this one is pretty decently big. I bought this camera from Costco with a 2 gig SD card for 239.00. | |

| I have had the Kodak Z812-IS camera for about 6 months now. My first digital camera was an Olympus Stylus 300 (3.1 MP and tiny optical zoom). | |

| This is a great camera just for a basic point and shoot camera! I like the massive 12x zoom that it has along with the 8 megapixel sensor. | |

| This camera rocks. The early version that I had did take photos as quickly and clearly as this. This camera replaced my Canon A620 which I had for a couple of years. The zoom, price, and HD video were the most attractive features for me. I have had other Kodak camera and liked them but was thinking of buy another brand. | |

| After setting are changed, this can be an ok camera. easy to carry, can make soundless, good features poor image quality. This is a great camera for someone who has only used point-and-shoot type cameras. easy to carry, many usable functions. | |

| I look forward to eventually getting all the accessories for it. : ) Picture quality is wonderful and camera was very easy to use. Many features that only higher priced cameras have. I was looking for high optic zoom, and was able to get it with this camera. | |

| Kodak Z 812 I paid 244.00 3 years ago from amazon. When you push the shutter button it takes a picture very fast,85% of the pictures are in focus. Macro photography I have had this camera for several years, I too have Nikon D70 and a Canon EOS KISS X2. Still working great after two years This camera is my third digital camera and now is a little outdated because of the 12 megapixel and beyond cameras... | |

| The 640x680 video is smooth and the sound is great. It takes better video than my Sony Digital Handycam that I payed $500 for a few years ago. Buying this camera practically requires you to purchase rechargable battery pack from canon ($39 for the battery + $41 for the charger). | |
