1. Intended Use
This electric water kettle is meant to heat water for household use. It is not meant to be used with any other fluids and for commercial or industrial use.
2. Technical Data
Voltage..: 230 V / 50 Hz Power consumption..: 2200 W
Important for your safety!
To avoid life-threatening electric shocks: Make sure that the base with electrical connections never comes in contact with water. First let the base dry completely, in case it gets wet accidentally. Make sure that the power cord never becomes wet or damp during operation. Lay the cord such that it cannot be pinched or otherwise damaged. Should the power cord be damaged, get it replaced by the customer service, before the kettle is used again. Always pull the plug out of the power socket after use. Switching off the device is not sufficient because the device receives power as long as the power plug is connected to the socket. To prevent fire hazards and the risk of injury: Always heat water with a closed lid, otherwise the automatic cut-out mechanism doesnt work. Boiling water can then spray out over the edge. When in use, the electric water kettle is very hot and hot vapours may escape from it. It is always best to wear oven mitts when handling the kettle. Make sure that the electric water kettle is kept in a stable and vertical position before you switch it on. Boiling water can cause an unstabile kettle to fall over. Never leave the electric water kettle unattended. Do not let children and other frail persons handle the appliance unsupervised, as they may not always be able to assess potential risks.
