Opening any early would cause the waffle to tear. The waffles are ready after approx. 3 minutes. By turning the regulator button or adapting the baking time you can determine how brown the waffles will be. When taking out the waffles, make sure that the coating of the baking surfaces is not damaged. Otherwise you will not be able to take out the waffles as easily.
