Intended use
This appliance is intended exclusively for the production of ice cubes in domestic households. It is not intended for continuous operation. The appliance is not intended for use in a commercial setting.

Safety instructions
To avoid potentially fatal electric shocks: Ensure that the power cable never becomes wet or damp during operation. Lay the cable such that it cannot be pinched or otherwise damaged. Should the power cable or the plug be damaged, have the customer service replace it before you use the appliance again. Do not leave the appliance permanently connected to the mains network. Always remove the plug from the power socket after use. This will ensure that the appliance does not start unintentionally. Do not use the Ice Cube Machine outdoors. Do not expose the Ice Cube Machine to rain.
To avoid the risk of fire or injury: When in use, do not attempt to touch anything inside the appliance, especially the cooling/heating pipes. Do not insert objects of any kind into the appliance. Do not touch any moving or electrically charged parts in the interior of the appliance. Never cover the ventilation slots. Ensure it is placed at a sufficient distance from walls (min.15cm). Never leave the appliance unattended when it is in use. Do not permit children or infirm persons to use the appliance without supervision. They cannot always correctly assess the potential hazards. Only use the appliance on a stable, non-slippery and level surface. Do not place burning objects, such as for example candles, on the appliance. Avoid close proximity to heat sources, e.g. direct solar radiation, heaters and other appliances etc.! Do not place water-filled receptacles, such as flower vases, on the appliance. Do not use extension cables. In an emergency the power plug must be quickly accessible. You may not open the casing or repair the appliance yourself. If you do, appliance-safety can no longer be assured and the warranty is voided. Repairs are to be carried out exclusively by a specialist firm or the service centre.

Note: Allow the Ice Cube Machine to stand undisturbed for 12 hours before taking it into use, this will permit the cooling agent to settle and allow the appliance to adjust itself to the ambient temperature.

Producing ice cubes
1. Place the power plug in a wall socket. The control lamp ON/OFF flashes, showing the standby readiness of the Ice Cube Machine. Note: Only use drinking water for the production of ice cubes. Note: For health and hygiene reasons you should dispose of the ice cubes produced in the first production cycle and not use them for the cooling of foodstuffs or drinks. 2. Open the lid and remove the ice cube collector container from the appliance. 3. Pour water in up to the fill marking (Fill Line) inside the water reservoir. The water reservoir holds ca. 3,5 Liters. Note: To achieve correctly sized ice cubes the water temperature must lie between 7C and 32C.
Starting up
Before starting up the appliance, make certain that. - the appliance, power plug and power cable are in a faultless condition and - all packaging materials have been removed from the Ice Cube Machine.
First of all, clean the appliance as
described in the chapter Cleaning and Care.

4. Replace the ice cube collector container into the appliance and close the lid. 5. Press the button ON/OFF on the control panel. The control lamp ON/OFF glows. The Ice Cube Machine pumps water to the cooling/ heating pipes and commences with freezing. 6. Select the desired ice cube size: Press repeatedly on the button ice cube size until the control lamp glows under the desired size. Should the ambient temperature exceed 16C, selecting the small or medium size is to be recommended. Otherwise, the ice cubes could stick to each other.
The display Content level - Water reservoir on the control panel glows. There is too little water in the water reservoir. Refill it. Wait for 3 minutes until the cooling agent in the compressor has settled. Press the button ON/OFF. The ice cube machine switches itself off. Press the button ON/OFF. The ice cube machine restarts itself. Note: On hygienic grounds the water in the water reservoir should be changed every 24 hours. Note: Should the appliance become separated from the mains network during operation or the lamps on the control panel glow, please check to see if an ice cube is blocking the throw-out mechanism. Should this be the case, remove the plug from the wall socket and carefully move the throw-out mechanism to the rear! Loosen and remove the blocking ice cube. In the ice cube collector container the ice cubes are kept cool for a short period. For long-term storage remove the processed ice cubes from the appliance and store them in, for example, the freezer compartment of a refrigerator. Switch the appliance off when you no longer require further ice cubes.
Important: Under no circumstances
should you place your hands or fingers in the Ice Cube Machine during the freezing process! After ca. 15 minutes the finished ice cubes automatically slide through the throw-out mechanism into the ice cube collector container. The Ice Cube Machine automatically interrupts the freezing process if the ice cube collector container is full or the water reservoir is empty: The display Content level - Ice cube collector container on the control panel glows: The ice cube collector container is full. Remove the ice cubes. The Ice Cube Machine automatically continues the process.

Cleaning and care
Clean the Ice Cube Machine regularly. If you are not using the appliance, absolutely remove the water in it - by means of the drainage valve : Remove the plug from the wall socket. Place the Ice Cube Machine in such a position that you can hold a sufficiently large container under the drainage valve. Hold a sufficiently large container under the drainage valve. Open the drainage valve. The water drains out. Close the drainage valve when no more water flows from the valve. Leave the lid open until the Ice Cube Machine is dry on the inside. This will avoid the formation of mould. Before cleaning the appliance:
Storage and transportation
First allow the appliance to dry completely before before placing it in storage. Store the appliance in a dry place. Do not tip the Ice Cube Machine during transportation or storage.
Disposal
Do not dispose of the appliance in your normal domestic waste. Dispose of the appliance through a registered specialist disposal firm or through your community waste disposal department. Observe the currently applicable regulations. In case of doubt, contact your local waste disposal facility.

Remove the power plug from the

appliance, pull the drainage valve out and drain off the water. Clean all areas, surfaces and the power cable with a lightly moistened dishcloth. Dry the appliance well before re-using it. Do not use cleaning agents or solvents. These can cause damage to the appliance.

Exchange the water in the water reservoir. The water temperature must lie between 7C and 32C. Operate the Ice Cube Machine with an ambient temperature of less than 32C. Fill the water reservoir with colder water.
The ambient temperature or the water temperature in the water reservoir is too high. The ice cube production process runs normally, but no ice cubes are produced.
The cooling system is leaky. The pipeline in the cooling system is blocked. Contact the Service department.
Switch the appliance off and remove the power plug.
