Paper Type Specifications
Normal (Plain Paper) Thick Paper 3
Normal paper is used for copying in general and is called PPC paper. Normal paper is usually not a recycled paper. Specify [Normal] for the tray in which normal or recycled paper for copying is loaded. For this model, Plain Paper is designated as paper weighing between 16 lb. and 24 lb.

Recycled Paper

Thick Paper 3 is paper weighing between 55.75 to 68 lb. bond. It can be fed via any paper tray.

Thick Paper 4

Thick Paper 4 is paper weighing between 68.25 to 72 lb. bond. It can only be fed via the bypass tray.
Paper made from waste paper pulp instead of virgin wood pulp. There are several kinds of recycled paper. The main difference is the actual recycled content of the paper.

Glossy Stock

Specify [OHP] for the bypass tray in which transparent film paper is loaded. OHP Transparencies are supported via the bypass tray only. Maximum capacity is 20 sheets.

Envelopes

Paper having a shiny or lustrous surface.

Up to 256 gsm paper can be processed from all trays and duplexed; and max. 271 gsm paper fed via the bypass. The clever banner printing function enables easy production of oversized formats up to 1.2 metres length ideal for the creation of display materials. Professional finishing enhances printed output and gives all documents a touch of sophistication! Essential security

The bizhub C353P impresses with Konica Minoltas comprehensive security functionality. An internal basic firewall for IP address filtering and control of protocol and port access is standard, same as SSL encryption to protect communication to and from the device. The programming of user authentication and access rights is fast and simple and allows for example to set individual print volumes or limit access to colour printing per user. If the optional hard disc is equipped a secure printing function can be activated that requires authentication at the device before printed pages are output. Other features are password-protection of User Boxes and the encryption (optional) of all data stored on the hard disc.
