With Scan to E-Mail, the process of scanning a paper document and attaching the electronic data to an e-mail message has become as quick and easy as making a photocopy. Scan to E-Mail is useful in a host of situations, such as when you want to download the scanned data to your own PC or send it right away to a customer. Scan to FTP lets you upload scanned data to an FTP server. This gives you an easy, convenient way to create a datasharing environment within your work group. * NC-5/SU-6 installed machines are available.

This enhanced printing function lets you output data from your PC quickly and smoothly. Offering full GDI support, it prints from a Windows PC at a quick 16 pages/min*2 at 300dpi, and 12 pages/min*2 at the higher-quality 600dpi. Equipped with both parallel and USB interfaces, it connects to a wide range of PCs. *1 Network printing is available with NC-5 installed Di1610f only. *2 A4

Colour TWAIN Scanner

While the Di1610 Series is a black-and-white machine, it comes equipped with a TWAIN-compatible colour scanner that converts colour documents into electronic data. You don't need to purchase a separate flatbed scanner, so your total equipment cost is reduced.
The many graphic elements on this userfriendly display make it easy to understand. It also lets you make 16-in-1 prints and insert a variety of watermarks.

Super G3 Fax

The Di1610f serves as a Super G3 fax with standard JBIG data compression / decompression. It sends pages at a quick 2 seconds* each over ordinary telephone lines. You can register up to 200 phone numbers in the speed-dial list, including 15 that can be set for one-touch dialing. The panel key layout is designed for quick, easy, comfortable use. * Calculated when sending an A4 page containing approx. 700 characters at
standard image quality. This includes only the time spent for electronic transmission of image data, and does not include paper feed or output times.

High-Quality Images
Capable of producing 600 600dpi image quality, the Di1610 digital laser printer easily outperforms inkjet systems. It outputs 16 pages/min* in continuous copy mode, and 12 pages/min* in 1-to-1 copy mode. Plus, it reproduces characters more sharply by minimising the line thickening that occurs in multigeneration copies. * A4

Equipped with a 16MB memory, the Di1610 Series can store data equivalent to around 25 A4-size sheets*. Or, choose the optional 32MB memory and it stores data equivalent to around 189 sheets*.
