| Good len with this price. especially when you take a pic within 70-200 and the quality is almost the same constant focus. The speed of focus is slow. by far the best telephoto lens for my sony dslr. Sharp pictures however low lighting is problematic. otherwise, this lens cant be beat for the price. | |

| I purchased this lens for use on my 5D MK11 and my 7D. Sharpness at the short end is good but above 200mm it is poor on both my camera bodies. One a superb lens! Not to noisy and very quick at focusing even at 300mm. It is possible to take photos at 300mm hand held. | |

| Great Picture When it Works! This lense would be great if it would only stop breaking. I have had the lense for almost a year and a half. WYSIWYP - What You See Is What You Paid In past time, I owned a Canon USM Telephoto lens, but I lost it. So I had to look for a Replacement lens. | |

Booklet Printing The following list itemizes applications, by platform, that support Booklet printing: Windows: Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint (version XP and 2000) and Adobe Acrobat (version 5/6) Mac OS v10.2: Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint (version 2001) and Adobe Acrobat (version 5/6) To print an A4 or letter booklet job on A3 or 11 x 17 paper size:
1. 2. 3. In the application, under Page Setup, set the Page Size to A4 or Letter. In the Fiery printer driver, set the Page Size to A4 or Letter. N OTE : To print an A4 or Letter booklet job on A4 or Letter-size paper, enable the
Imposition Reduction print option. Slow printing with LPR or Port 9100 As reported in the Microsoft Knowledge Base article 816627, if you are using Microsoft Windows 2000, you may experience slow printing with TCP/IP Port Printing. If you are using LPR, disabling the LPR Byte Counting feature and enabling the advanced TCP/IP options may improve printing performance. For more information, see the Microsoft support website at http://support.microsoft.com. If you experience slow printing from LPR or Port 9100, use another printing protocol, such as SMB. You can also obtain a software update from your service technician. However, this update presents the following considerations: On network segments with many collisions, the update adds to network trafc during large data transfers. If network connections are charged by the amount of data, the update may result in increased network charges. English PPD is used instead of non-English ppd on Mac OS X For languages other than English on Mac OS X, the proper PPD is not displayed. This is a known Mac OS X v10.2 issue. If this happens, copy the appropriate language PPD (for example, Fiery S300 50C-K v1.1 eu) into the US English PPD folder, en.lproj., in <HDD>:Library:Printers:PPDs:Contents:Resources:en.lproj. Mac OS v10.3 incompatible print option settings On Mac OS v10.3 computers, you can specify combinations of print option settings that are incompatible. However, the printer driver does not alert you to this problem.

Scanned TIFF les in Illustrator 10 If you save a TIFF format le sent by Scan to Email on a Windows computer and open the le in Adobe Illustrator 10, the image may have a pinkish tone. Use Adobe Illustrator 9 or Adobe Photoshop 7 to open such les. In Fiery S300 version 1.0 (Engine ROM version earlier than 20), the Scan Color Mode settings are Auto, Full Color, and Black.
