Ambos productos son capaces personalizar y duplicar hasta 50 discos de forma automtica y con una resolucin de hasta 4800 ppp. Grupo CDW ampla con dos nuevos productos de Primera Technology, fabricante lder de duplicadoras e impresoras de CD-R/DVD-R, su familia de personalizacin de CD/DVDs. Se trata, en esta ocasin, de la impresora para CD's y DVD's Bravo II Autoprinter y la duplicadora Bravo II Disc Publisher. El primer dispositivo, la Bravo II Autoprinter, es la nueva versin mejorada de Bravo Autoprinter, ya que se ha doblado tanto la capacidad para almacenar discos como la re s o l u c i n d e i m p re s i n. Grupo CDW enlarges with two new products from Primera Te c h n o l o g y , l e a d i n g manufacturer of toasters and printers for CD-R/DVD-R, its family for customising CD/DVDs. In this case we are writing about the printer for CDs & DVDs Bravo II Autoprinter and the toaster Bravo II Disc Publisher. The first device, the Bravo II Autoprinter, is the new improved version of Bravo Autoprinter, because it has been doubled as much disc storage capacity as printing resolution. Actually, this new model is capable of easily and rapidly printing up to 50 CD/DVD at full colour, and makes use of an innovative CD/DVD printing system that combines an automated technology to print the surface of CD/DVD at full colour, at 4800 dpi, and at a speed of 52x. Its main feature is that, thanks to its integrated automated and robotic technology, enables to carry discs from the input tray to the printer and then, directly to the output tray, printing its surface at full colour and without requiring operation by user. This way, discs are printed in an automated way, therefore speeding up work and reducing waiting times.

Among the speakers there was a presentation by Mr. Colin Watt, European Technical Manager and Mr. Stuart Gilmour, Director of Sales Development from Static Control that presented an analysis of the colour market and its significance towards the future. The seminar had a length of two days in each city and there were discussions in the toner area about the special features of the HP 4600 as well as a practical demonstration of the complete recycling of their cartridges (C9720A, C9721A, C9722A, C9723A).
In the theoretical part, Colin Watt introduced an interesting presentation of the theory of colour and its application in laser technology. The session of the seminar that was orientated to the colour market in inkjet printers was presented by Luis Vicente Rodrguez, managing director of Ozotoner, who explained to the assistants the physical properties of inks applied to functioning of inkjet printers. In the practical part, ngel Mariano Fernndez, technical director of Ozotoner, offered technical information about the HP 10, 11, 12, 82 y 84 cartridges from the printers that use them. Thereafter

cartridges from HP 10 were recycled with the possibilities of preserving their original cover or not, the rest of cartridges are identical in functioning as the ones found in the HP 10. The seminars, that had a good number of assistants in both cities, had a part dedicated to commercial novelties from Static Control Components & OCP GMBH. There were practical demonstrations of the empty cartridge converters that Static presented at REMAX and that enable to take advantage of existing cartridges in large amounts and at low prices with a minimum cost, in order to convert them into models compatible with more recent cartridge models that have now a high price for their empties.
Another presentation was the line of Fast Track from Static that offers end cartridges from models that are hard to recycle because of their complexity, or models that are considered as classics. Statics vision on this particular subject is not to compete with recyclers (it is not directing to distributors or end users) but to allow the professionals of this business to broad its range of products for their customers, with a topquality product. Whereas the strategy of the recycler is to orientate its effort towards the latest models of cartridges that allow to obtaining a higher markup, with these cartridges they can still be offering the most classical models (that leave a lower markup) maintaining the great value for money that is offered by Static in its Fast Track line of products. Finally, the new nomenclature of Hewlett Packard for its old inkjet cartridges was presented, and after that, trouble-shooting in ink recycling was discussed.
