Now are we using special format of the Dialux. In future it could be IFC ?

Challenges with BIM and IFC

For software companies.

Models have much more data than earlier, that leads to the need for new functions We should remember, that all projects are not BIM projects!

For designers.

Have to make an exact, detailed plans (not only drawings) Have to learn a new manner of thinking and new functions Be fearless! The software handles most of these routines automaticly
For device producers (!).
BIM needs a 3D graphic and a technical device information Device producers have to learn a new manner of thinking, what kind of material they have to prepare.

CAD design will change

BIM is a bigger change than changing the pen to CAD. Now changing the whole process.
