For graphics color applications choose Katun Performance color products. Katun Access Products Katun Access is a line of selected products that address the unique pricing or product needs of specific markets. Katun Access products provide market acceptable quality and market competitive pricing. The Katun Access product line complements the Katun Performance line by providing a value proposition based primarily on specific market needs. Katun Access products have a one-year warranty. Although Katun Access products provide some price advantages, remember that Katun Performance products always provide excellent overall value. Original Products Select OEM brand products that Katun offers to meet certain market needs Fuser Roller Coating Technologies REVOLUTIONTM upper fuser rollers utilize a PFA sleeve coating that is more environmentally friendly than standard spray technology, while still achieving uniform coating thickness and even heat distribution. These fuser rollers provide proper fusing, excellent abrasion resistance and long life, even during extensive copy runs. TM DURACON II upper fuser rollers are manufactured with a heat-resistant, nonstick TEFLON brand coating that includes patented conductive additives for static dissipation. These rollers provide excellent fusing performance, toner release, and long life, primarily in machines using positive-charge toner. DURACONTMIII aluminum copier and printer rollers feature an electrically conductive PTFE coating system that is the culmination of extensive research and development. The system offers an unequaled balance in terms of coating release and smoothness, as well as patented electrical property formulations and abrasion resistance characteristics. TM ALUMANA upper fuser rollers are manufactured with extremely hard, tough primer and midcoat layers for maximum resistance to wear and abrasion. The ceramic ALUMANA coating combines a DuPont-patented polymer blend with reinforcing oxides for enhanced durability. These heavy-duty rollers are specifically designed to meet the demands of hostile fuser station environments and higher-speed machines using either positivecharge or negative-charge toner. TM TRITON II upper fuser rollers are manufactured with an advanced TEFLON brand coating that provides improved fusing performance and nonstick characteristics in comparison to conventional fluoropolymer coatings. Unique static-dissipative particulates within the TRITON II coating, together with enhanced manufacturing processes, contribute to these rollers superior abrasion- resistance and excellent toner release. These rollers provide extended potential life in selected machines using either positive- charge or negative-charge toner.

TRITONTMIII upper fuser rollers utilize a unique 3-coat system that blends PFA, FEP and PTFE coatings with additional resins to provide a highly specialized coating specifically developed for the copier roller industry. The key is the internally reinforced basecoat, which provides increased abrasion resistance (durability) without sacrificing excellent release properties. This 3-coat system provides a smoother finished surface than many standard systems, reducing the need to polish most thin-walled rollers, which can be susceptible to damage during polishing. TUF/SILTM upper fuser rollers are manufactured with a layer of silicone rubber that effectively regulates heat flow to the toner, plus an outermost layer that consists of a specially blended TEFLON brand coating providing excellent toner release and abrasion-resistance. This combination ensures reduced toner offsetting and improved, more consistent copy quality under certain demanding machine usage conditions. These rollers provide a high-performance, cost-effective solution for selected machines required to consistently produce the best possible copy quality. MICROSLEEVETM lower pressure rollers, with nonstick PFA sleeves 50, 70, or 100 microns in thickness, provide excellent wear-resistance for improved copy quality over an extended life. A-Series MICROSLEEVETM lower pressure rollers are designed specifically for machines utilizing lower fuser cleaning rollers. Their unique surface texture reduces toner buildup and improves cleaning efficiency within the fuser station. All Katun fuser rollers are designed specifically for their intended applications and manufactured to exacting quality standards, ensuring their excellent performance and long life. Fuser Cleaning Roller Coating Technologies Katun has introduced unique fuser cleaning roller technologies for machines requiring efficient removal and absorption of excess toner and contaminants, as well as continuous silicone oil lubrication of critical fuser station parts. For many machines, the ideal parts combination for achieving optimum copy quality and maximum parts life includes a specially designed Katun fuser cleaning roller. FIBRATM fuser cleaning rollers incorporate a uniform network of special fibers that aggressively remove excess toner and contaminants from the contacted surface. By efficiently depositing toner and contaminants beneath its outermost surface, the unique FIBRA network also helps maintain a continuous lubricative flow of silicone oil from the rollers internal tank to critical fuser station parts. FIBRATMII fuser cleaning rollers incorporate a unique configuration of highly heat-resistant fibers to greatly enhance cleaning performance, especially in hostile fuser station environments. Efficient absorption of excess toner and contaminants, together with continuous silicone oil lubrication of critical fuser station parts, effectively reduce parts and service expenses associated with the fuser station. Katun also accepts Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. CashInAdvance Discount Katun offers a 3% cash-in-advance (CIA) discount on certain products. We will calculate the 3% discount, promptly inform you of the total charges, and ship your order immediately upon receipt of your payment. General Shipping Information and Product Return Policies
Shipping and Handling Shipping and delivery charges can be included in your invoice. Katun receives reduced rates from the carrier due to volume of product shipped, and will pass these savings on to you.
For all fax orders, you will need to supply the following information: your Katun customer number, name, company name, address, ship-to address, telephone number, and P.O. number. You will also need to specify Katun part numbers, quantities, brief product descriptions, and your preferred method of shipment. Prices are in U.S. dollars, ex-works Katun Distribution Center, Davenport, Iowa, U.S.A. Katun business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Central Time (CT) Monday through Friday. Katun ships most parts and supplies orders to its customers 24-48 hours after release to the warehouse. A $5.00 handling charge will be added to orders under $50.00.
Product Return Policies Katun must preauthorize all product returns. To receive a return authorization number, contact the Customer Service Department at 52-(449) 9227100 Katun will not accept any returns without a return authorization number. Returns and refused shipments are subject to a minimum 10% restocking charge. Returned goods must be shipped freight prepaid. Merchandise returned more than 90 days from the invoice date will not be accepted (with the exception of product warranty claims). Merchandise which has been written on, marked, relabeled, or placed in other than original Katun packaging will not be accepted.

Original Products Select OEM brand products that Katun offers to meet certain market needs Fuser Roller Coating Technologies REVOLUTION upper fuser rollers utilize a PFA sleeve coating that is more environmentally friendly than standard spray technology, while still achieving uniform coating thickness and even heat distribution. These fuser rollers provide proper fusing, excellent abrasion resistance and long life, even during extensive copy runs. TM DURAPREM II upper fuser rollers are manufactured with a heat-resistant, nonstick TEFLON brand coating that provides increased surface hardness for extended potential life. A proprietary finishing process produces an exceptionally smooth surface, which contributes to these rollers excellent fusing performance and toner release in machines using negative-charge toner. TM DURACON II upper fuser rollers are manufactured with a heat-resistant, nonstick TEFLON brand coating that includes patented conductive additives for static dissipation. These rollers provide excellent fusing performance, toner release, and long life, primarily in machines using positive-charge toner. TM DURACON III aluminum copier and printer rollers feature an electrically conductive PTFE coating system that is the culmination of extensive research and development. The system offers an unequaled balance in terms of coating release and smoothness, as well as patented electrical property formulations and abrasion resistance characteristics. TM ALUMANA upper fuser rollers are manufactured with extremely hard, tough primer and midcoat layers for maximum resistance to wear and abrasion. The ceramic ALUMANA coating combines a DuPont-patented polymer blend with reinforcing oxides for enhanced durability. These heavy-duty rollers are specifically designed to meet the demands of hostile fuser station environments and higher-speed machines using either positivecharge or negative-charge toner. TM TRITON II upper fuser rollers are manufactured with an advanced TEFLON brand coating that provides improved fusing performance and nonstick characteristics in comparison to conventional fluoropolymer coatings. Unique static-dissipative particulates within the TRITON II coating, together with enhanced manufacturing processes, contribute to these rollers superior abrasion- resistance and excellent toner release. These rollers provide extended potential life in selected machines using either positive- charge or negative-charge toner.

TRITON III upper fuser rollers utilize a unique 3-coat system that blends PFA, FEP and PTFE coatings with additional resins to provide a highly specialized coating specifically developed for the copier roller industry. The key is the internally reinforced basecoat, which provides increased abrasion resistance (durability) without sacrificing excellent release properties. This 3-coat system provides a smoother finished surface than many standard systems, reducing the need to polish most thin-walled rollers, which can be susceptible to damage during polishing. TM TUF/SIL upper fuser rollers are manufactured with a layer of silicone rubber that effectively regulates heat flow to the toner, plus an outermost layer that consists of a specially blended TEFLON brand coating providing excellent toner release and abrasion-resistance. This combination ensures reduced toner offsetting and improved, more consistent copy quality under certain demanding machine usage conditions. These rollers provide a high-performance, cost-effective solution for selected machines required to consistently produce the best possible copy quality. TM MICROSLEEVE lower pressure rollers, with nonstick PFA sleeves 50, 70, or 100 microns in thickness, TM provide excellent wear-resistance for improved copy quality over an extended life. A-Series MICROSLEEVE lower pressure rollers are designed specifically for machines utilizing lower fuser cleaning rollers. Their unique surface texture reduces toner buildup and improves cleaning efficiency within the fuser station. All Katun fuser rollers are designed specifically for their intended applications and manufactured to exacting quality standards, ensuring their excellent performance and long life. Fuser Cleaning Roller Coating Technologies Katun has introduced unique fuser cleaning roller technologies for machines requiring efficient removal and absorption of excess toner and contaminants, as well as continuous silicone oil lubrication of critical fuser station parts. For many machines, the ideal parts combination for achieving optimum copy quality and maximum parts life includes a specially designed Katun fuser cleaning roller. FIBRA fuser cleaning rollers incorporate a uniform network of special fibers that aggressively remove excess toner and contaminants from the contacted surface. By efficiently depositing toner and contaminants beneath its outermost surface, the unique FIBRA network also helps maintain a continuous lubricative flow of silicone oil from the rollers internal tank to critical fuser station parts. TM FIBRA II fuser cleaning rollers incorporate a unique configuration of highly heat-resistant fibers to greatly enhance cleaning performance, especially in hostile fuser station environments. Efficient absorption of excess toner and contaminants, together with continuous silicone oil lubrication of critical fuser station parts, effectively reduce parts and service expenses associated with the fuser station. TEFLON is a registered trademark of E.I. DuPont de Nemours and Company used under license by Katun Corporation. Personalized Product Program Katun offers an extremely cost-effective way for office equipment dealers/distributors to ensure repeat business and strengthen relations with customers. The Personalized Product program enables dealers/distributors to provide highquality Katun Performance imaging supplies (toner bottles and cartridges for use in copiers, printers and facsimiles, inks and masters for use in digital duplicators, and thermal transfer ribbons for use in facsimiles) with their business name and /or logo, plus contact information, so end-users always know whom to call to reorder. For a one-time, nominal set-up fee, Katun designs and produces full-color labels to customer specifications and applies them to packaging at no extra charge. Shipping and Handling Katun can provide you with alternatives for shipping. We will attempt to select the most convenient and costeffective carrier for you. However, if you have a preferred carrier, please inform your Katun Customer Service Representative. Hazardous material shipments will be billed accordingly. A nominal handling charge is incorporated into our shipping costs. Product Return Policies Katun must preauthorize all returns. For return procedures and a return, contact the Customer Service Department at 31(0) 183696969. Toner, toner cartridges, digital duplicator inks and masters, and thermal transfer ribbons with personalized labels cannot be returned to Katun for credit unless a valid warranty claim exists. Returns and refused shipments are subject to a minimum 10% restocking charge. With the exception of warranty claims, merchandise returned more than 90 days from the invoice date will not be accepted. Merchandise which has been written on, marked, relabeled, or placed in other than original Katun packaging will not be accepted. 2. Distributor Choice Warranty Claim Options
Please indicate your choice of Technical Evaluation/Replacement, Technical Evaluation/Credit, or Automatic Replacement. NOTE: Automatic Replacement claims must be filed within 90 days of product delivery date, and must not exceed US$500/550. If no choice is indicated: (a) If product is included with this form, this claim will be treated as Technical Evaluation/Replacement. (b) If no product is included with this form, and the claim is less than US$500/550, this claim will be treated as Automatic Replacement. (c) If no product is included with this form, and the claim is more than US$500/550, the claim is invalid.

3. Specific Requirements

If damage (for example, a chip or scratch on a photoreceptor) is noted out-of-box, DO NOT INSTALL THE PRODUCT. No copy/print samples are required. Installing a product with out-of-box damage could void the warranty. Include applicable copy/print samples with all claims. If a photoreceptor is suspected to be defective after machine installation, please attach to this form the copy/print samples indicated below. This will allow a thorough evaluation of the claim. Ensure that neither the form nor copy/print samples will contact the photoreceptor surface during shipment. FOR PHOTORECEPTORS USED IN COPIERS, include: (a) Three sky shot (open platen; black) copies; (b) Three white copies; and (c) Three copies of a test pattern. NOTE: If the defect is not visible on the copies indicated above, please attach three copies which clearly show the defect. FOR PHOTORECEPTORS USED IN PRINTERS AND PLAIN PAPER FACSIMILES, include three prints which clearly show the defect. IMPORTANT: The Katun product warranty does not cover damage by operator, technician, or machine (including rotational scratches, gouges, scuff marks, or line scratches).

4. Shipping Instructions

ALL PRODUCT RETURNS MUST BE PROPERLY PACKAGED. This includes packaging in the correct individual product box and in a second container with adequate protective packaging material. This is required by all carriers. NOTE: Products damaged in transit to Katun due to inadequate packaging cannot be covered by the Katun product warranty, and will be returned. Ship Technical Evaluation claims, freight prepaid, to the address specifically indicated for this purpose in the General Information section of the Katun On-Line Catalogue and current printed catalogues.
