LeapFrogs Leapster Explorer is an entirely new experience in mobile learningsturdy enough for classroom use by 4-9 year old children, yet still delivering the latest in high-tech design, including our biggest and brightest touch screen and a Linux-based operating system. The handheld boasts Flash capability and a peripheral slot for accessory add-ons like a camera/video recorder. It comes with a Leaplet learning app card for a choice of downloadable e-Books, videos, flash cards, or mini games. In addition, the Leapster Explorer handheld adapts to individual needs and uses dynamic leveling to ensure students are challenged at their own pace. The individualized learning and highly engaging environment facilitate independent learning to help all students reach their potential. The Leapster Explorer Grade Level Mobile Learning Centers make it easy to add this age-appropriate, screen-based technology to the classroom.
