No light sensor needed! To save energy, a switching off at night is programmable. The switcjing On and OFF times can be adjusted asymetricaly for +/- 60 minutes. The control input enables the activation of the time switch irrespective to the program. (NOT D22 Astro!)

Comfort and safety

The time switch calculates the daily times of sunset and sunrise. At sunset the AstroRex will switch the lights ON and at sunrise the AstroRex will turn the lights OFF.

Selection in the menu, adjusting parameter and selection of the channel (2 channel version only!)
Brief description of the programming possibilities Text based programming The AlphaRex uses clear text to guide you through the options and the programming. Every step is clearly displayed and the selected function is flashing. The integrated background lighting for display and buttons allows easy programming even at bad lighting conditions. Selection language Useing the MENU-button, allows to select the requested language. Default language is english. Time, date, summer-/wintertime. The actual time (CET) and date have been pre-set in the factory. Default summer-/wintertimeis EU. Changes can be made by choosing MENU and SET Programming A program consists of an ON and OFF time and the assigned day(s). Before setting the ON and OFF times, the requested days have to be selected: MONDAY-SUNDAY, MONDAY-FRIDAY, SATURDAY-SUNDAY or INDIVIDUAL. The INDIVIDUAL mode allows to select every single day of the week. It is also possible to program over midnight. Relay function With MENU and FIUNCTION it is possible to change the relay possition. Discription of application
Automatic summer-/winter time change: the central european changeing dates are programmed into the time switch. Changeing will take place at 02:00h CET. The time switch turns fatser to set the new time. Automatic time stetting when installed: as soon as the time switch is connected to tension, the time switch wil set itself automatically to the correct time. Manual setting: The hands of the time switch should not be set manually, because the time switch will then show the wrong time. The internal controler can not be manipulated with changeing the hands manually. Eventual wrong displayed times can be corrected with the manual setting of the hands when automatic setting has ended. Reaction of programs during fast setting mode: during the fast setting mode the choosen programs will be executed faster than normal.

Explanation of the LED

LED is OFF: there is no tension connected to the time switch or when time switch it connected, the time switch is in automatic setting mode. LED is ON The automatic setting has ended. Automatic summer/winter change is activated. Wrong displayed time can be manually adjusted. LED is flshing The automatic summer winter change is irreversibel defective. The time switch wiill work without running reserve like a common quarz controlled time switch. Only manual setting is possible.
