The DPA-800 uses Microsoft sorting sequence, for example: When you have 5 images stored on the unit with the numbers 1, 2, 3, 11 and 25. The DPA-800 will show them in the following sequence: 1, 11, 2, 25, 3. This quick guide will explain how to place the images on your DPA-800 and create your desired slide show order. 1. 2. Slide the DPA-800 power switch in the on position. Connect the DPA-800 to your computer by using the usb cable.

Copy the VSO software (Image resizing software) from the DPA-800 onto your computer. Install the software by double-clicking the software icon and follow the instructions on the computerscreen. Run the VSO software. Select the desired photos which you wish to compress and copy on to the DPA-800 by selecting them with the left mouse button and if necessary press and hold Ctrl button while selecting. Please note: The software will rename and compress the images in the same order as that you have selected the images. 7. Set the desired resolution. 8. Set the desired quality. 9. Enter the desired file name. This works as follow: Enter; %NNN Lenco and the first file name will be 001 Lenco. The next file name will be 002 Lenco. When you use NNN you can auto compress and rename maximal 999 files. So if you use NN you can go up to 99 files and if you use NNNN you can go up to 9999 files, (10.000 files is also the max for the DPA-800). 10. Press OK to start the auto renaming and compress process. 11. Copy the images onto the DPA-800.

Installation of the resizing software Instruction To enjoy maximal amount of pictures at the best quality on your Lenco digital photo album DPA-800 we recommend you to resize the pictures while you place them on your DPA-800. Follow the following steps to install the software on your computer. 1. Connect the DPA-800 with the computer. By using the USB cable. Slide the ON / OFF switch in ON position. After approximately 10 seconds the computer will recognize the DPA-800 as a removable disc, go to my computer and select the removable disc. Open the folder DEMO Double click on the icon vso_image_resizer2_setup_lenco_2.2.1.2.exe to start the installation. Select your language Read the instruction carefully for correct installation of the resizing software. Once the installation is complete press Finish to exit the installation wizard of the resizing software.

Select the DPA-800 and desired folder on the unit, confirm by pressing OK. Press OK again and the software will start to resize the selected photos on to your DPA800.

Note: The DPA-800 will boot with a preset slideshow. To stop the slideshow long press Main Display button. 4. Select the desired resolution after resizing (recommend is 800 X 600 Px). While viewing photos it is possible to view the photo comment. When this option is set, the comment is visible at the bottom side of the LCD display. When there is no comment available there will only appear a black bar. The DPA-800 is a photo viewer only so always save a copy of the photos installed on the DPA-800 on your computers hard disc to prevent the risk of losing any.
