Welcome to St. Marks Version of the Roaring 20s! We welcome you to the St. Mark Family Auction and hope that you and your family have fun this evening. We come together every year to support our common goal and St. Marks largest ministry, St. Mark School and the quality education of its students. Your presence and support is appreciated! Tonight would not be possible without the countless hours of work and preparation put in by all the volunteers, and we are humbled and grateful for everyones support and efforts. The true spirit of our community is reflected in these hours and huge effort. Fund an Item

This years project may be considered old school, but we consider it more about getting back to basics. We looked at several projects, but in researching different options and talking to the faculty we realized that most of the desks the students sit in today are old, broken, scratched, and generally dilapidated. Some of the desks we have are well over 30 years old, and although thats not old in people years, when youve had hundreds of children write, pray, bang on, scribble notes, stick gum too, push around, nap on, cry over, eat on, spill on, paint on, and yes, sit on, you realize that these desks deserve retirement. New desks will allow our students to be able to write without their pencils falling into the grooves on the desks, put heads down upon when needing quiet time without fear of splinters, and pray upon before that big test with renewed vigor. Were not planning on anything fancy. Just sturdy metal desks that will last us another generation, and help the students succeed. The desks we would like to purchase cost about $100 each, with shipping and tax. To purchase 190 of them we need to raise $19,000 (thank you Mrs. Martin for helping us figure that out). Your help towards this goal, in any amount, is appreciated. During the live auction the auctioneer will call out different denominations of support, from $25 on up, and you can raise your card at whatever level you feel comfortable. If you cant stay for the Live, there will also be signup sheets available at the display area to write in your bid number. Thank you for supporting this worthy goal. To check out quickly at the end of the night, provide us with payment information when you arrive. Heres what to do: 1. Give the registration person a signed, blank check (payable to St. Mark Auction), or let us take an imprint of your credit card and sign the slip. 2. Confirm your address is correct. We will mail your credit slip or a copy of your filled-in check after the auction. 3. Pick up a final receipt and any gift certificates you purchased at the bank (use the Quick Check Out Line) at the end of the evening when the bank opens. 4. Retrieve your items from the auction tables. Thats it! If you make no purchases, your original check or credit card form will be voided and returned to you by mail.

Payment Procedures

Payment can be made in the form of check, cash or Visa/MasterCard. Please make checks payable to St. Mark Auction. VISA or Master Card is also accepted. If there is a multiple party purchase, please select one person to make payment at the bank. The bank will open at 7:30 p.m. Prior to leaving the auction, all items must be paid for in full. We recommend that you utilize the quick pay system. Simply present your credit card during registration. At the end of the evening, simply go to the quick pay line at the bank to collect your receipt and any gift certificates. You may then collect your items.

The highest bidder acknowledged by the Auctioneer shall be the purchaser, who will acknowledge the purchase by signing an auction invoice, which constitutes a legal contract to buy.
IRS Regulations Air travel will be provided by airlines as stated even though airfares may increase or decrease. No refunds will be allowed if fares decrease. All fares for travel packages are coach unless otherwise noted. Air travel tickets or certificates are subject to blackout dates as follows: Holiday blackout dates may apply. Presidents Day weekend, one week before and after Easter, July 4th weekend, Wednesday through Monday of the Thanksgiving holiday, and December 20th through January 4th.
